Ole is fucked here. That United board proved to be incredibly naive. Its easy saying now but getting the job off the back of his first 10 games or so was ridiculous. I know there's a lot of variables in how a manager performs like getting time, the board backing you with money to sign players etc but this clearly isn't working at United and his last couple of press conferences have been laughable with the comments he's made. Long may it continue.

Watching United chase the top 4 is like they're chasing a £50 note on the end of a bit of string, just when the get close to grabbing distance it gets pulled away.

Solskjaer is only in still in that job is because he's a United legend, he's also lucky that United's points tally so far has been masked by how poor everyone around them have been this season and that Spurs and Arsenal have been in turmoil this season otherwise they could be clinging on to stay in the top 10. I've heard people saying that they're 30 points behind Liverpool which is true and could be 33 points in a few hours time but at the other end of the scale they're only 11 points ahead of 19th place Watford.

I don't want to hear the "too good to go down" nonsense because it doesn't apply to that team, their top scorer is out pretty much for the rest of the season, they've got no creativity and they're devastated by injuries, McTominay is allegedly out for at least another month, Pogba? Who the fuck knows. That team has no confidence, they've got an £80 million centre back who hasn't looked all that good, is apparently carrying an injury to his hip and they've given the lad the captaincy! Talk about adding to his burden. They are in terrible shape and with management and coaching staff who don't seem to know what they're doing and a board unwilling to spend money to improve the team it could get worse before it gets better.

Now I'm not saying they will go down because there's plenty of teams who are shitter but this is a team that is there for the taking for any team in the premier league apart from maybe Norwich who I think they've played twice already anyway, they aren't creative enough to break down a well drilled team and they're vulnerable defensively particularly from set pieces and through the middle and they have a tactically inept manager, 2-0 down and he takes off a left back for a left back.

A lot of these players seemed quite relieved they didn't get thrashed by Liverpool on Sunday but last nights performance against a side that has been very poor recently really showed the issues that that club needs to fix and that's just on the pitch.

Ed Woodward has no footballing ideology and Ole is a dire manager he has absolutely no direction for his team or ability to adapt tactically.

The decision making from the club is laughable whether it be getting rid of your top goal scorer and not replacing him (TBF Rashford has done well) or paying over the odds for decent players who haven't really improved the team that much.

I don't see United getting rid of Gollum as that would require some common sense but with him there they will gradually get worse and so will the football.

United needs a huge overhaul with a massive clear out and stop thinking nostalgia is the answer to progress as a club.

They won't finish in the top 6 and honestly we will finish above them.

Definitely felt like we deserved at least a draw but we are own enemies for the goals poor defending for both goals. Letting 2 Liverpool players go for the same ball from a corner is criminal and definitely should of dealt with the second goal it was poor from Coady.

Credit to Liverpool they are no where near as enjoyable to watch as Citeh 17/18 or even Klopp's Liverpool teams of previous seasons but they are ruthless and always get the job done. To me they are very reminiscent of Fergie's teams where they always seem to find a a way to win even when not at their best which is a sign of a truly great team.

The thing that makes Liverpool so dangerous is that they're capable of scoring from pretty much any situation, set pieces, crosses, through balls, long balls etc. Mane's injury could be a concern but realistically they're still good enough to beat everyone in the league without him, Origi might not be as creative but he certainly knows how to put the ball in the net. 9 wins from their final 15 games will win them the title and that's assuming City win all 14 of theirs which realistically isn't going to happen so they could do it in less.

Looks like Fernandes to Utd is close now, all terms are agreed and it’s subject to a medical.

I know players often struggle to settle in the Premiership when they’ve come from inferior leagues, but if he can be half as effective for Utd as he has been for Sporting then he’ll be great.

Yeah, looks like a great signing. I am just perplexed as to why nobody else has tried to get him ahead of Utd. On paper, and from what I've seen he'd be a great addition to almost any team's squad, and yet nobody has entered the race. It's weird.

Not sure on Fernandes I've seen quite a bit him (including his time in Italy) and don't think he is suited to the Premier League.

I think it will be a struggle for him to start with especially seeing the lack of quality currently available in the squad.

United are probably expecting him to carry the team for the remainder of the season and push for the top 4 but with out quality forwards available he's gonna struggle.

I’ve only seen his stats and youtube clips, which means absolutely fuck all, especially in that league, but he’s definitely talented.

Yeah, same, looks quality, but obviously it might take some adjustments to get used to the PL. Then again, he might just come in and light it up like Bernado Silva did.m when he came from France.

I hope so, we need as much help as we can get with Rashford and Pogba out.

Weren't Barca going to sign him and loan him straight out to Valencia?

Ie, he's not good enough for their squad even with the current injuries.

Just had a look what the biggest premier league winning margin is and it's 19points which is currently what Liverpool are leading by
