It appears that I missed a lot of fuckery at the earlier state of this site.
I should have left when all the great posters from Eastsideboxing where leaving.
Mr. Tony was actually one of the refugees from the old ESB lounge.

It was there that he let slip that he had euthanized a noisy canine . This drew considerable reproach from many posters, and explains Johnstown's disdain expressed earlier in the thread.

I think it was here that his alter ego started posting as well (Abraham ?)

At any rate, the double life drew almost as much by way of snickering and social ridicule as the dog incident.

Thus, the boastful claims of some who had a hand in chasing him away from our hallowed halls.

Can any of you right wingers tell us that if Biden talked about "herd mentality", that you all wouldn't have instantly pointed to that and called him a confused, senile, stupid old man?

Scientific American backs Biden in first-ever endorsement

Scientific American backed Democrat Joe Biden for president on Tuesday, the magazine's first-ever White House endorsement in its 175-year history.

The magazine's editors wrote that they felt "compelled" to back Biden in his effort to unseat President Donald Trump. Scientific American cited Trump’s handling of Covid-19 and his skepticism of expert opinion and mainstream science on issues like climate change as the impetus for its decision.
“The evidence and the science show that Donald Trump has badly damaged the U.S. and its people—because he rejects evidence and science,” editors wrote for its October issue.

“Joe Biden, in contrast, comes prepared with plans to control COVID-19, improve health care, reduce carbon emissions and restore the role of legitimate science in policy making. He solicits expertise and has turned that knowledge into solid policy proposals.”

Sad thing is though, there’s a very real possibility that there is enough Americans with the same idea that it might get Donny across the line come November

Pretty much this.

If you're STILL supporting Trump at this point, then you are either a total uninformed moron, or an objectively shit person. How could you be a good person and support what he has done and how he carries himself? :conf

Even just for this forums sake.

I know what’s to be expected if Trump wins. But I’m more interested in seeing how everything plays out on here if he loses.
I think the gloating from the expected group will be obnoxious, especially given what they're separating. There will be some question as to voter fraud. If Trump doesn't immediately concede, people will assume that he's going to try a military coupe or something.

What else... many won't have much of a care one way or the other, will get annoyed by how standards will flip to protect Biden, and those people will be called Trumpists or something.

All-in-all, not much will change.

I’m interested in seeing how Team Trump will actually be able to take a stance and hold Biden to any reasonable standard seeing as how they’ve let so much slide with Trump.

Constant lies by Biden? No room to criticise there

Incoherent speeches? No room to criticise there

Giving his children or jobs to people who don’t pass security clearance? No room to criticise there

Governing by executive order? No room to criticise there

I’m sure at least seeing the roles reversed with Team Trump complaining and Team Biden defending will be more interesting than more of what we’ve got. Especially given Team Biden have demonstrably more ability to call out bullshit from their side than Team Trump

You're going to whatabout it as Trump and his army of cultist retards actively try to destroy American democracy?

Because that's what's going to happen. This election is going to make Florida 2000 look like the good old days.

Don't care. I'm out. Let them cry, moan, complain, and fight. I have no more interest in the future of this country.

You give them too much credit. They are cultists, end of. Truth? Consistency? Decency? These concepts are completely meaningless and irrelevant to them. All they know or care about is hate, hate, hate. That, and warm, soothing, comforting lies. Hate, lies and the holding of power no matter what price is what the American right has become - at this point, there is essentially nothing else. :sad

You're curious as to how people will apply a double standard and nitpick at the details to suit their case?

That's what people do. The more sad part is that they will believe it. Now flip those questions on their head a little bit. Will you be surprised when Biden voters draw weak distinctions between lies Biden tells, after screaming about Trump for 4 year? Yes.

All of the rest? Yes.

It's a little tribal mental game we play

"Biden supporters" don't really exist like "Trumptards" do.

Do you really think that if Biden started going on about windmill cancer and herd mentality and bleached lung injections, that the leftist posters here would give him a total pass?

If Biden takes office and completely ignores the coronavirus for six months, reopens everything, unveils his new slogan "Masks are bullshit" and then does nothing as half a million Americans die of Covid over the following year....... do you really think that the CHB leftists would say "Well nobody could have handled it better" like Fat Pete does, or "it's fake" like Joe E does?

You see that happening?

Who is in the Biden cult that puts him beyond any and all criticism?

To answer quickly yes. I think that exact thing will happen. It has little to do with Biden, and more about that team being determined to not be on the wrong side.

It will happen. When it does, people will point it out. When they point it out, the response will be some version of "It isn’t really the same though is it? Because blah blah blah." It'll be like clockwork.
