To answer quickly yes. I think that exact thing will happen. It has little to do with Biden, and more about that team being determined to not be on the wrong side.

It will happen. When it does, people will point it out. When they point it out, the response will be some version of "It isn’t really the same though is it? Because blah blah blah." It'll be like clockwork.
See, this is in many ways the most long-term damaging part of Trump's legacy of shit.

Why SHOULDN'T the Democrats attempt to make the country one-party rule?

What argument is there now, to say that they should work with Republicans or respect American democratic rules and traditions?

No Republican or right-leaning American can say why it's okay for Republicans to act and "govern" as a personality cult, but not for Democrats. If there are two teams out there and only one of them is trying to play cricket, then there's no cricket match and it won't be long before there's not even an attempt to get one going.

And that is going to be a BIG fucking problem for American democracy for a lot of years going forward.

Because of this orange fuckwit and his army of un-American cultist retards. :rolleyes

There aren't just two teams though. There's the two teams, and everyone caught between them. I think Trump is a disgrace. When Democrats act like shit, I get to say that they are acting disgraceful as well. It ain't rocket science.

The double standard will flip in a few months.

The first part I dont even get. Are you a fan of one-party "rule" and what it leads to?

Yep. I agree.

Problem is, your society has moved well past that point. And it's the right that is almost exclusively to blame. When the President is on tape saying that he's spent months deliberately lying to the public about the severity of covid, and tens of thousands of Americans who believed what he said about the virus DIED because they took their President at his word........ and the entire GOP and essentially ALL of his supporters give him a free pass for this because tribalism...... then where is there to go from here? How long do you expect the Democrats to play by the time-established rules and norms for now?

The double standard will flip in a few months.
In the sense that Trumptards will pretend that they suddenly give a single fuck about truth or democracy.

Biden and Harris will be held to account by the left wing of their party.

Trump heads a personality cult.

I really don't see how you can deny that there is a significant difference here.

The first part I dont even get. Are you a fan of one-party "rule" and what it leads to?
No, of course not.

But if I was the head of the DNC or their chief strategist, I would be telling them to do everything they can to make it one-party rule. Because that's what American "democracy" is now, thanks to Trump and his cult of hate-filled retards. I'd be ordering the Democrats to pack the courts. I'd be gerrymandering the voting districts on a street-by-street level, I would set a goal of disenfranchising 5 million likely Republican voters. Because that's what American politics is now. It's a gunfight, and the Dems have been using a butter knife. How are you or anyone going to tell me that they shouldn't act like that, but should just accept that 50% of ALL Presidential elections going forward are going to end with Democrats winning the popular vote by millions and Republicans taking the Oval Office anyway?

there has never ever been a 'standard' so low as the one we see from trump

NOBODY would excuse MANY of the things trump has done or said in a dem.........................

Ive never seen a more disgraceful display from a POTUS or his supporters.................

I suspect that this is what it felt like to be a 'leftist' in the 1950s and watch republicans go after 'communists' and the like...............but far fuckin dumber..............

I think, while we are on it,that Harris will split the party far worse than it is if Biden hands off to her next term and she runs

Nobody likes her......................and the split on the left could let another rep worm their way in.............

One of the many things that concerns me about Biden winning as a matter of fact

Bet you you are wrong.

ONE Republican voted to impeach Trump, after he had repeatedly confessed on live TV to committing impeachable acts.

That's how cultist the American right is at this point in time.

How much rope do you think Joe Biden has to run with, before AOC publicly yanks on it to correct him?

Hey, man. We'll see. There are few things that would make me happier than good and honest governance. I think you're way off, but I don't see us getting anywhere

You mean Harris isn't the magic future of the progressive agenda? It's not like she engaged in enslaving prisoners beyond their time for the purposes of labor or anything.

You're not getting "good and honest governance" under Biden and Co.

But you're not getting "incompetent authoritarian personality cult" either, which is a HUGE step up from the current shitshow. :thumbsup

Mr. Tony was actually one of the refugees from the old ESB lounge.

It was there that he let slip that he had euthanized a noisy canine . This drew considerable reproach from many posters, and explains Johnstown's disdain expressed earlier in the thread.

I think it was here that his alter ego started posting as well (Abraham ?)

At any rate, the double life drew almost as much by way of snickering and social ridicule as the dog incident.

Thus, the boastful claims of some who had a hand in chasing him away from our hallowed halls.
Doing a split personality gimmick is one thing but killing a dog over being noisey is enough for any of us to tell him to go fuck himself.

@Jay

Is that jerome character a alt?
What are your thoughts on Trump lying about COVID and increasing the death toll by 80-90%, 'J'?
At this point it doesn't matter.

Trump's supporters are going to support him and rationalize whatever he does. If you're still on the Trump Train you ain't getting off...

Democrats just need to get enough people to come out and vote.

As far as the issue though...

Trump is always a balance between evil and stupid.

In this case it's more evil because he obviously had at least a basic understanding of the risk.

So he "downplayed it".

Of course the Trump ass suckers are suggesting it was good to avoid a panic.

But that is dumb as fuck because eventually we got as much of a panic as we would have earlier.

The only difference is more of his supporters refused (and still refuse) to wear masks or socially distance.

His saying that he didn't want to create a panic is also hilarious given the fact that he has always tried to create a panic.

From caravans filled with MS-13 to Antifa Biden destroying the suburbs.

But again

The people who don't already get this won't get this.

The only hope is maybe a few more hesitant voters will come out to try to vote him out.
I already know where you stand. I wanted to know what our new poster thought. :hey
I thought you quoted me for some reasons..
Guess this will be you at your boxing gym bathroom when Jay Z shows up.
