Hes a prick m8
 definitely

He just rubs me up the wrong way. You have people Chris Eubank Snr and Angel Garcia who do it to take the heat off there sons. But Gallagher does solely for his own personal gain. Fame hungry tosser.

Dyer think Butler and Yafai will happen?

I think he's a good trainer and strategist. He's not proven at world level yet but he's not been found out either, he just hasn't had much experience there but we'll know more when we see Quigg, Liam Smith, Callum Smith, Stephen Smith, Crolla etc. in the future. I think it says something that the fighters he has think highly of him, especially tactically, and constantly praise that aspect of his training. He's a better trainer than all but two or three in British boxing.

That said, his biggest downfall for me is as a manager. He refuses too many good fights and whilst I can understand where he's coming from in wanting his boxers to keep winning, you've got to be willing to take risks. You can't be obsessed with not losing and that sort of mentality doesn't go together with greatness, so if he wants to be seen as a world class trainer, he needs to allow his fighters to be in riskier bouts and proven their talent.

Hate the way he starts every sentence with "Listen". Really annoys me that.

Good trainer though, and as someone else already stated, his current fighters seem to love him.

Class trainer - can't argue with that. Whenever I've met him always found him pleasent enough. He's just quite a private person thrust into the limelight because of his job. I've never really heard him big himself up - and he does a great job.

'SOF' summed up my thoughts on him. He's a good but limited trainer. One of those who will train every fighter to fight the same way no matter what their strengths. I don't like that approach. Seems like a alright chap to me though, I don't get why people hate him.

Brian King was having a dig saying Gallaghers would not be genuine champs like Enzo Calzaghe had. Enzo Macc was more of a paper champ than any of Gallaghers but he said he was a true world champion

3 'world champs' & only one notable win between them in Kiko for Quigg.

Quigg given his belt & has 1 good win, Smith's beaten no one above British level & I'm struggling to think of a worse world champ Perez. Right up there with M'Baye who Rees beat.

No offence to Crolla but he's not world class or even close.

Burns, Flanagan & Campbell all come through relatively unscathed against him.

I'm genuinely chuffed for Crolla though, he may have got lucky with fighting such a dreadful world champion but I never thought he'd have made it at British level when Sykes & Matthews were beating him. Brilliant story.

How many trainers in world boxing have more title holders than Gallagher? How many British trainers have more British champions than Gallagher? Crolla has now beaten Gavin Rees and Darleys Perez so he is clearly world class (top 10, 5?) in a weak division.

When Gallagher brings his stable to the Wildcard he will have more world champions than Freddie Roach :good

Rob I'd say Enzo Mac as of now, was a more worthy champion than Liam Smith.
