He knows a lot more about boxing than I do, but then so does the plant pot next to the telly. Comes across as a bit of a prick but is doing decent work with British boxers so no need to be too harsh.

If he could fix my sky box I'd have even more respect for the bloke :thumbsup

Joe says the Mitchell fight will not happen, point blank refusal. Says they'll have Linares, I get his thinking, cos for me, both Mitchell and Linares are equally as dangerous for Crolla, and knowing Joe G....

Don't think he's interesting to even warrant much of an opinion. Bog standard British trainer with a good stable, imo.

How many trainers in world boxing have more title holders than Gallagher? How many British trainers have more British champions than Gallagher? Crolla has now beaten Gavin Rees and Darleys Perez so he is clearly world class (top 10, 5?) in a weak division.

When Gallagher brings his stable to the Wildcard he will have more world champions than Freddie Roach :good

Rob I'd say Enzo Mac as of now, was a more worthy champion than Liam Smith.
There's probably very few but I'd imagine there's plenty of camps with 3 better fighters than Quigg, Crolla & Smith who've just not had promoters getting them fantastic chances.

I can't still believe John Thompson fought for a world title & that Darleys Perez had one.

There's at least 6 British lightweights who'd beat Perez & I bet a few of our light middleweights would've beat Thompson or pushed him close

Go get the papers get the papers.

Round and about
He has to deal with and discipline boxers so tbf he's in a no win situation. To do his job properly it's impossible to be Mr Nice Guy and be universally popular.

His last interview had all the elements that Joe Haters dislike.

Smugness, Arrogance, Matchmaking

although for the record I'm a fan of Joe. as a trainer and I actually like his interviews.
