So United have got the manager and player of the month double for the first time since January 2011 when Ferguson and Berbatov claimed the awards. This January it was Ole and Rashford. Well deserved if you ask me.
Tomorrow we travel to Fulham who have been in very poor form and have been struggling all season. We have an important home tie against PSG on Tuesday which I think will play a part in Solskjaers team selection. We need to beat Fulham though, and a victory here could see a very real possibility that we find ourselves in fourth by the end of the weekend with City playing Chelsea.
We have plenty of attacking options. I think he would like to rest Rashford, Martial and Lingard before Tuesday so we may well see Sanchez, Lukaku and Mata start or he could start Rashford in hopes of keeping his confidence high, we'll see. I think we need to rest Matic and Hererra but our cover options are not great with Mctominay and Pereira. James Garner is still not ready for first-team action and Fellaini has, of course, moved on. Rojo is still out, Valencia is out, I don't know whether Smalling is back or not yet. I predict we may see something like the below.
De Gea
Young/Dalot
Jones/Bailly
Lindelof
Shaw
Fred
Matic
Pogba
Mata
Lukaku
Sanchez
As stated, Fulham have been very poor lately and are battling relegation. I can't see anything other than a United win here. I was at Old Trafford for the previous game against Fulham earlier in the season and we thoroughly outplayed them. They looked like they had very little to offer back then and it seems little has changed.
My prediction: 4-0 United.
