I've seen Solksjaer get a bit of criticism from a minority United fans because of his team selection and mixing it up but it's obvious he knows who his best team is, it's the midfield three of Herrera, Pogba and Matic, behind Martial, Lingard and Rashford. The only issue is that the players were starting to look tired and he's mixed it up a bit, which is necessary especially when you've got big games in Europe coming up.

I know it's only a minority of fans but it just makes me laugh how critical fans are. You get a club legend come in who does a brilliant job in a short space of time and even then, some people are looking to pick holes. I don't think these peiople necessarily dislike Ole or anything, it's just that natural inclination to be critical at the first opportunity which baffles me.

I don’t believe he was turning in World class performances on a weekly basis for Juve at all. He may have been very good for them in certain games but everything he does seems to be exaggerated because there is an agenda amongst certain people to build him into something he’s not.

I’ve yet to see a single world class performance from him in any shirt. Frankly I think it’s all a load of bollocks and he’s been well and truly found out. He’s bang average.

Have you watched him under Solskjaer yet Benny?

Anyone who doesn't think that Pogba proved himself to be world class in the World Cup is delusional or biased. He was brilliant, a top 5 player of the tournament.

Solskjaer had his first choice 11 decided within 2 games. Mourinho had 3 years and I had no idea what team would start against good opposition.

Understandable, I was one who questioned why the change in personnel and formation before the Burnley game in this thread and it's the only match we haven't won under Ole and we only rescued points because he changed the formation and brought on Rashford and Martial.

So it's completely understandable imo.

I thought he was arguably the best player of the tournament, especially after Belgium and Croatia matches, the bigger the stage was the better he was

He was phenomenal in the world cup

Pogba , not world class? prior to Ole he was average. these last three games he has produced his World cup form , which was World class. Watching him again today he is definitely World class. Regards Mervyn The Gee

But you can't always pick your best team. It's not like Solksjaer is still playing around with what he thinks he knows is best, just like every fan in the stadium, he knows that the team against Burnley wasn't their best but you just have to do that sometimes. You're not wrong to say it's an inferior team to what could be picked but that doesn't mean his rationale in picking such a team should be questioned. When it matters, United's team sheet will be very obvious and the changes being made now are out of necessity, to avoid players burning out.

The starting line-up vs PSG will probably be...

.....................De Gea................
Young....Lindelof..Bailly...Shaw
.............Matic....Herrera..........
....................Pogba..................
Lingard.......Rashford...Martial

I’m confident that’ll be the team, or within one player of it (Jones has been getting the nod over Bailly but Bailly’s fully fit now).

Tactically, he played Lingard central, dropped Pogba further back as a CM rather than AM, and pushed Martial and Rash as a wider-than-usual front two against a couple of big sides lately, so we might see that.

With mourinho, you'd be sure of how many, 2 or 3

I think that is the lineup every United fan is predicting :)

Neymar is out for them. Cavani limped off injured yesterday so he may be out also. Veratti played yesterday so he will be available. Veratti is class. Di Maria and Mbappe will be the main danger men for them obviously but we all know Di Maria can't perform at Old Trafford!!!!!

@Rakim score prediction please.

Personally, I'm very positive about this. How things can change in just a few months. I think United will turn it on and get a 3-0

Fuck me, mate. 3-0’s optimistic. I’ll be ecstatic if they don’t score.

I’ll be positive and go for 1-0.

They have no Neymar or Cavani. I think Lindelof is going to put in another beast mode performance and shut them out! I just get a good feeling that this Ole train is going to keep accelerating! I'm gutted I can't go tomorrow, a friend had a spare ticket but I just can't afford it at the moment. I'm in Budapest for a stag party this weekend and then the following weekend i'm going to the game against Liverpool. If it wasn't for Budapest I would have 100% been there tomorrow.

Is there any chance you can get me tickets? I’ve been to OT before but the tickets were always a fucking nightmare to get hold of. It’s an expensive trip because of the drive, staying in a hotel, eating out, etc, but I want to take my little boy to a game.

Even if it’s against some shithouse team, I just want him to go to OT.

The bloke I get them from has nothing left this season but I might be able to sort a couple for next season.

I think we'll rip them apart as well. 2 nil in a game were we miss 4 or 5 good chances.

PSG ain't all that. They play against muck week in week out and without a few star players they're there for the taking.
