I definitely think Lonzo has elite vision/passing, and his outlet passing is beyond special for a PG.
I actually think he has the potential to become the best passer of all time while simultaneously not being able to be a positive contribution to his team's offence.
He's that special.

I said that Boston needed to get rid of Kyrie or Hayward and I was scoffed at. Kyrie is a major cancer, and Hayward can't get right. Now they are screwed. Kyrie has ruined team chemistry and tge guys are buckering now. Damned shame.
So the Pelicans traded a first round pick for Mirotic, couldn't keep AD, then turned Mirotic into Jason Smith and Stanley Johnson. LOL I tried telling @Casual b*nson's Unknown HOOOOOK what would eventually happen but he didn't understand.

Doncic has ROY locked up. Trae should be getting a real look, but he lost the race in the first month, before it ever got started.

Harden certainly has more MVP moments than Giannis does, but history says that it's The Freak's award to lose.
The Pels should have taken that trade. They would have been a playoff team and had a great future. AD is not a winner.

I don't care abour the ROY. My interest is in that trade. Trae has proved his value and adjusted to the size of the NBA, and he is coming close to evening the playing field between them. They are also primed to get a fairly high draft pick from Dallas, so the risk they took might pay off.

The Greek Freaks stats have fallen off. He's not built for a full season.

Lonzo is a bigger Rondo without the grit. He's still a boy. His father has done him a disservice by speaking for him. Lonzo needs to learn how to lead.

You were right about Hayward's production, but no one was going to take him coming off of that injury and pay him 30 million a season. Kyrie is still the best chance they have to succeed in the postseason, but things have just unraveled all of a sudden when they had actually been playing really well until recently. The Boston Celtics just aren't a title contender without Kyrie Irving, chemistry or not, and need to make the most of having a legit superstar on their team (while they still have him).

I honestly don't trust Giannis' skillset and overall IQ for the game. I see him as a 6'11" Russell Westbrook, essentially. His stats are fine, though. They have added a lot more talent around him since the beginning of the season and his numbers reflect that.

Kyrie is that dude on the court that nobody likes. He's a Fugazi. He wants to be the leader but no one wants to follow him. He's a Busta.

Giannis had similar numbers last year. They are better because of Coach Bud. He knows how to use people.
Giannis is great, but history shows that every season he breaks down around this time. He needs a good backup that can bring his minutes down.

Giannis had a knee injury right after the all star break. He was playing limited minutes and missed a game or two, thus the drop in production. That 43-14-8 looked pretty nice the other night, though, so I'd say he's healing up.

Future of the NBA. Easily better than Kawhi or Kyrie.

I get it. Stevie's hero (Kyrie) is proving to be a zero, so he needs someone else to take it out on. Giannis has already been anointed the next chosen one, so he's the obvious choice to be targeted by Stevie's hate.

I think that you might actually be a hater of mine, which is somewhat amusing. How many titles has Russ won, again?

He Isn't a leader, but he is an important cog when it comes to attracting elite talent that can help out with the leadership... Unless you think that Tatum, Brown, Rozier, and Horford were ever taking the franchise anywhere.

It's funny how you can see that Kyrie is a busta, but couldn't see the same thing in Jimmy Butler.

As for Giannis, he's fine physically. Just somewhat limited and easy to gameplan against.

... If the Bucks and the Raptors face off in the playoffs, Kawhi is going to take away his straight line to the basket by picking him up beyond half court. He's going to have to be able to consistently hit midrange shots and I don't think he can do it yet.

I think that Giannis' effectiveness is cut in half in a halfcourt setting.

Getting rid of Kyrie would havw been addition by subtraction. He's a cancer.
Brad Stevens should take a lot of the blame for Bostons missteps. His lineups have been pretty bad at times.
I never said Butler wasn't a Busta. Messing with Town's girl is unforgiveable, and Karl should have beat his ass for that. That's a sucka move.
I wish I had Giannis' limitations.

Cancers don't outplay Steph Curry while helping carry a franchise to a title as the number two option. Addition by subtraction? Maybe for meaningless regular season games. But the goal is to actually compete for NBA titles, and they are simply not a title contender without Kyrie Irving on the roster. They just aren't. When they are clicking on all cylinders WITH KYRIE, they can beat anyone 4 out of 7. Anyone.

We'd both love to have Giannis' limitations, but I think that Lebron, KD, AD, Kawhi, Paul George, Curry would rather not.
