We are simply guilty for attaching common sense into the equation, which KD clearly lacked in the end. He had no right to be out there, compromised, with free agency looming.

Peep how they protected Klay Thompson from himself in game 3, and contrast that to what they did to Durant. He was a commodity that they were going to lose, and so wanted to milk whatever was left out of him before he was gone.

12 out 14 minutes played. Iced on the sidelines, then trotted right back out to run the offense with Quinn Cook and the other scrubs.

KD succumbed to peer pressure and his desire to be liked. His decision making process was something child-like.

All season he had controlled his own free agent narrative. Three weeks out and he gives it away.

His agent should be fired. The Warriors doctors should be investigated. Even Steve Kerr needs to answer for how he chose to utilize KD. The player's association should get involved. I am so gutted for this dude right now.

KD went up in my estimation. I believed the narrative, but I was wrong (well, about the one this postseason, anyway). He just risked both that narrative and his health in that game. Unfortunately he couldn't save the important one.

I suppose I need to tweak my hater thought process. I feel pretty guilty and pretty damn awful for him.
Yeah fair play

I think what we’ve seen the past few weeks from Kawhi Klay looney cousins and durant kinda shows any thought these guys would just sit out because they care more about narratives than winning is crazy.

I would fully Kevin keegan style love it if golden state won now just for those raptors fans cheering the injury .

It's ridiculous, man.

These absolute spastics who try and find conspiracy in everything are so fuckin stupid. Always the same type of people too. Dumb people who think they're intelligent.

No, turns out he was providing good feedback, and was pressured by the organization, anyway. GS could have just ruled him out indefinitely, but they sat around every night creating fictitious timetables, having not even seen him practice, and made his absence a continuous story.

Then he practices, and is cleared to play by a team more concerned with a fourth ring than preserving his future.

The rest is history. Played 12 out of 14 minutes. Goes out with the second unit, runs point with Quinn Cook and tears his achilles pulling off crossover dribble moves from 30 feet out. And now it's over.

He should have been every bit the diva that he was entitled to be...
Did Durant agree to give it a try?

This series is a win win for me. I hate GS and I want Toronto to win but if GS wins it makes Durant's titles basically meaningless. Durant deserves that.

The narrative, in KD's case, was about staying healthy for his free agency. He stupidly messed that up.

Looney is also an idiot, but his circumstances are far different from KD's. Looney is playing to secure his place, while KD was already more secure than Looney can ever dream of being.

Tell us again how KD was fine to play all along but just didn't want to because he didn't care about another ring.

:rofl

How fuckin embarrassing.

Absolute fuckin' mongoloid.
...So you're saying that KD wasn't okay to play. Why did GS clear him to play, then? I wish what I said had been true, because look at KD now.

Going out there and ruining himself was just about as dumb as paying child support for a kid that lives with you.

...Ever asked for a DNA test?

He was injured.

The playoffs became do or die. He risked it. If it was a mid season game he would not have.

There was no complicated narrative.

End of the matter.

You seem obsessed with me providing for my child when she isn't with me. She's with me 70% of the time but my responsibility 100% of the time. I feel sorry for 'your' children with this attitude.

There were loads of narratives some people believed he wasnt that injured and just wasnt playing because he felt underappreciated for example also he was waiting till they go down a few games to come back show they couldnt win without him and there was he doesnt want to come back and lose the series because then he'll be criticized, some people just thought he wasnt playing in the nba finals because he was injured.

His free agency is the one thing where everything Ive listened to and read has agreed he'll still get whatever he wants from the knicks or warriors and other teams too.

Now this sounds like a contradiction.

LOL... I'm obsessed, but you're here stalking me because I pulled your card a couple of weeks ago. Dude doesn't even post basketball, but is here posting emoticons and jacking himself off.

Honestly, I think that you might possibly be the dumbest sumbych on CHB, based on what you've revealed. But my opinion means nothing; you don't have to prove anything to me.

Now this sounds like a contradiction.
It's an admission. I attached my own common sense and sensibilities to the situation. Things that would have served Kevin Durant well...

... Partial admission, anyway. Kevin Durant did not practice, and so whatever timetables they were throwing out were complete bullshyt. That ALONE should have been reason enough for him to shut it down, knowing that no one was looking out for his best interests.

If they lied to him and told him that it couldn't get worse... well, that's also malpractice.

He'll be 32, coming off a torn achilles, an injury no one fully recovers from, when he was finally going to try build his own team. Not sure why you're trying to downplay this. This is Kevin Durant, top 20 ATG, in his prime. This will have historic ramifications.

He wont be signing when he's 32 though he'll be signing this summer when he's 30 and all the big NBA podcasters say even with this injury he'll get whatever contract he wants.

Dont know how you got me trying to donwplay his injury its terrible but dont think it matters in regards to money, I am 100% sure the warriors would give him whatever he wants at least.

Maybe he didn't want to stay in GS? Maybe he wanted to go somewhere else, and recruit another star player to go with him? Who is going to follow KD now, wait around for a year, and pray that he comes back the same player that he was before the injury?

… Do you know the statistics regarding a torn achilles? And this is his plant leg, where he gets all of his explosion from.

There is a change... a HUGE chance... that he will never be Kevin Durant again, and everyone around the league knows it.
