The Official CHB NBA Thread....(Regular Season, Playoffs, Draft, Pre-Season)

  • CHB will be closing down as of 31st July 2021. It's been a brilliant experience to run the website for the past 9 years, however it's time for me to move onto different projects. Thanks to every single person involved, from staff, former staff, posters old and current. All support means more than anyone knows. Thanks for your understanding.

Why, nba did do shit to the celtics in the 60s, of the celtics and lakers in the 80s.

Or celtics, heat, and warriors in the 2010s.

Enjoy the ride
Sort of. Contracts changed allowing players to move around, so many of the older teams you mentioned couldn't be maintained today. Draft rights and the like were different as well.

Yeah, salary cap would have killed a lot of the older dynastys but thats what made them so strong as well.

I would classify a superteam as having 3 superstar players.

The Nets are the only superteam and they are kicking ass
I understand that. But they also a team built with quality free agents. If LAC had meshed last year they would have been considered a super team.

When Blake Griffin is an after thought you are loaded. There is really no suspense about who is going to win this. The NBA needs to fix this. It needs parody.
There is an easy way to bring total parade to the NBA. Make it so there is no salary cap for individual players but teams have a salary cap. Instant parady across the entire league.

There ain't any. LAL and LAC were built like superteams, but they they don't play like it.
How is a old lebron and brittle ad a super team?

Lets be honest they surprised everyone last year and got worse in the offseason.

Clippers only have kawhi and pg, they dont have another superstar and didnt get much depth.

CP3 should have won the MVP. Not knocking Jokic, but CP3 taken 2 straight ass teams to the playoffs as a PG.

Its time we start including CP3 in the top 3 of PGs all time.
He has to be up there with Magic, Stockton, Big O, and Zeke.

It comes down to how MVP has typically been decided. CP3 obviously deserves it, but his stat sheets don't scream it in a way that influences the voting, which is a fucking shame.

He seems to have hit his stride these past few years. Very few major injuries and while not prime CP3, he's playing much smarter, and not ass much assholish behavior.
