Democrats have never campaigned on fiscal responsibility. Republicans never shut up about it - until they're in power and immediately spend trillions of dollars on bullshit wars and handouts to billionaires.

:hat
So why do Democrat supporters all of a sudden care about it? Wouldn't be anything to do with a Republican president would it?

And again I have already called out the Republicans for their hypocrisy in regards to it.

Because it's a trillion dollar giveaway to the richest 1% of Americans, at a time when they already control more of the country's wealth and income than at any time since the Gilded Age - which was immediately before the biggest economic crash and depression in American history.

Oh cmon man do you honestly not see that this is a political bat that the two parties pass back and forth to each other depending on who is in government.

You actually trying to imply that the democrats genuinely care about the debt?

Any thoughts on the criminal justice bill that was recently passed with bipartisan support? Or was that just smoke and mirrors
Its more or less fine as far as it goes but it doesnt go far enough and its the legacy of a series of acts and a general trend going back deep into Obamas administration..............it has little to do with Trump himself though I give huim credit for his support of it..............

His SIGNATURE initiatives are, more or less, all garbage designed to either claim 'victory' with no real change or,worse, fuck over the average Joe.........

Not priority #1 for me at all. In fact it’s well down there. No wars strong economy American jobs and tax cuts for the middle is what I’m about.

Again you opposed tax cuts in a country you don’t even live in. How much did you contribute in order to have such a strong opinion on how MY money is spent?
you are dumb as fuck dude

you think you scored a 'win' because Trumps banker boys handed you a five dollar check....................despite the fact your fucking kids are going to have to pick up a thousand dollar tab for it a decade down the road

yer dumb

seriousy

very very dumb

tell ya what

Ill send you ten bucks................

as long as your kids send me a grand in a few years,OK?

tbf the dems care far less about the debt in general

the point is that trump is a member of the party that claims 'fiscal responsibility' and claims to give a shit about it and yet, when he drives it up to record new highs, they are dead silent for some reason...........

The point is also that the Dems as you admit don't really give a shit about the debt.......unless it's a Republican President blowing the debt out. THEN it's an issue.

The Republicans don't really give a shit about the debt..........unless it's a Democratic President blowing the debt out. THEN it's an issue.

Meanwhile the fans of both party simply repeat this process. I guarantee that if a Democrat wins in 2020 then the Democratic supporters even on here will not mention the debt while it will miraculously become an issue again for the Republicans on here. I honestly struggle to understand it. How does any problem actually get fixed if people are so willing to follow along like this.

You have no clue. Maybe for a low level earner such as yourself you got a few bucks but for me it equals a few thousand saved in taxes and a few thousand gained on child tax credit. Add to that my recent raise new quarterly bonus eligibility due to corporate tax cuts and I can’t say anything other than that this regime has been very lucrative for me..just as I hoped.

You live in a tax free state under your retired mothers roof with no kids to feed or mortgage to pay. I live in a part of the country that has both one of the highest state taxes and one of the highest costs of living.

I’m dumb for wanting to hold on to more of my money. Great rebuttal as always.
