Any good? Saw the movie at the cinema, that was a likeable enough film. The vampire who refused to pay rent was the best.

:hat
Haven't seen the movie - in fact didn't even know there was one.

The series is quite watchable. Slap stick humour at best, but it has its funny moments.

Deacon was the best character.

Series 5 started airing well over a year ago. So I would assume it is series 5.

There is a reason I am interested in hearing what you think of it, but no spoilers. So I will leave it at that.
No it's series 6.

I would have watched 5 last year.
Can't comment, I don't remember what I did last week, let alone what I watched ladt year.
I'll spend the first few episodes asking my wife "what's going on there" because I can't remember whats going on

So you have watched series 5 then.

The reason I was interested in what you thought of it is, I enjoyed series 1 through 4, but series 5 fell away badly IMO.

I dont usually like spanish series but "La Casa de Papel" AKA "Money Heist" is pretty good.

Only two seasons so far but i've heard theres a third one coming which is a shame cause i think the ending was perfect. Now they will probably go the route of like say " Prison Break" who had two good seasons before it turned into complete BS,A shame if its the case with "La Casa De Papel".

Scotland
Her pensioner parents are over and put on something called The Bodyguard. Nae singing in it and the main guy has the most annoying fucking accent I've ever heard on it. Listening to Scottish people on TV is painful as fuck (unless it's a Scottish show or film) but when Scottish people try and change their accent to make it better understood it's even worse.

The show was fuckin appalling anyway. Although the lead is a guy every single character of significance thus far is a woman. That in itself doesn't bother me but the deliberate undertone of it does.

Anyway, it's obviously aimed at a low information/IQ audience so I won't be watching any more of it. Like that other show with Martin Compston in it. Similar cheap, low production, inferior feel.

The constant “Yes M’am” is annoying as fuck but that cunt is now the bookies favourite to be the next Bond.

Keep with it. It ain't a really bad program, the usual trashy BBC type thing aimed at women. The ending is hilarious...that entire episode has some of the worst shit of every kind in it you can imagine and one good tense scene.

Have you watched Informer mate?
I thought that was ok although I suspect if it never had Paddy Considine I might not have liked it as much.
BTW,if you’re from Glasgow or the surrounding areas,Madden’s accent is pretty fucking grating, but fair play to the guy. He’s gonna make millions after The Bodyguard although i’ve never seen GoT (or some other fantasy nonsense) and I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s been in it/them from the start and is a well established actor I just don’t know.

Meant to watch it. Will have to download it sharpish, BBC has a tendency to delete stuff you've recorded or taken stuff off of IPlayer. Thought Madden was very good, really held the show together.

To be honest I've been out of the mood of watching anything good. If I start watching owt at the moment I'll just take against it or give up and forget to get back into it.

Daredevil - meh

That other one, Punisher was kewl cause it didn't try to show "we're a comic book series with a large number of superheroes" down your throat. No fantasy and cataclysmic level stuff either. Hope they keep Pun's bloody feet to the ground.

Just finished with Missions, which is a French series, 10 parts, 25 minute episodes about the first two missions to Mars.

It's like a Sci-Fi heavy Lost (which is referenced) or Event Horizon without the eyeballs etc. It was good. Not great, but good.

There was this one scene where a character ridiculously gets her foot stuck in a hole, and they're French, but apart from that, good.

Anyone seen it?

‘Cowboy Bebop’ Live-Action Remake Of Cult Anime TV Series Picked Up By Netflix
https://deadline.com/2018/11/cowboy-bebop-live-action-series-netflix-remake-cult-anime-tv-series-1202510110/

Netflix has given a 10-episode series order to Cowboy Bebop, a live-action adaptation of the cult Japanese animated series. The Space western hails from Tomorrow Studios, Marty Adelstein’s joint venture with ITV Studios, which last year teamed on the project with Midnight Radio (Josh Appelbaum, Andre Nemec, Jeff Pinkner & Scott Rosenberg), writer Chris Yost (Thor: The Dark World, Thor: Ragnarok) as well as Sunrise, the studio behind the original series. Written/executive produced by Yost based on the worldwide phenomenon, Cowboy Bebop is the jazz-inspired, genre-bending story of Spike Spiegel, Jet Black, Faye Valentine and Radical Ed: a rag-tag crew of bounty hunters on the run from their pasts as they hunt down the solar system’s most dangerous criminals. They’ll even save the world…for the right price. (watch gif of the announcement below)

Nemec, Appelbaum, Pinkner and Rosenberg executive produce via Midnight Radio and will serve as showrunners. Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements executive produce for Tomorrow Studios. Yasuo Miyakawa, Masayuki Ozaki, and Shin Sasaki of Sunrise also executive produce alongside Tetsu Fujimura and Matthew Weinberg. Shinichiro Watanabe, director of the original anime, serves as consultant. Cowboy Bebop, considered one of the best anime series of all time, produced 26 episodes, which aired in Japan from 1998-1999. It has done well internationally, garnering several anime and science fiction awards, and is credited with helping to introduce anime to a new wave of Western viewers. In the U.S., it aired on Adult Swim.

Tomorrow Studios has another U.S. TV adaptation of a popular Asian genre title, South Korean movie Snowpiercer, which was picked up to series at TNT. Additionally, the company is developing other Anime titles. Yost started his career writing for comic book-based animated series before segueing to features. Netflix’s Cowboy Bebop news follows’ the company’s announcement yesterday of a major original anime slate expansion with new series pickups and renewals.
What in the actual fuck?

Cowboy Bebop is like the coolest series ever made with the best music. What the fuck are they remaking about it? Put the goddamn show up on Netflix instead of funding the pointless, set-up-for-disappointment live action series. Ghost in the Shell wasn't enough? Had Scarlett Johansson taking the role seriously and still sucked cawk.

Not sure if it's been mentioned here before but Happy! is one of the best dark comedies I've seen in years. Probably not to everyone's taste's but it's a good alternative Christmas show to watch.

Can't believe I've taken this long to finally watch it.
