Stick with it.. gets better and better and better. But it's hard sci-fi, not The Orville.
Well, i'm 5 in so i'll stick with it.

I'm a big sci-fi fan so had high hopes for this but it hasn't lived up at all.

I've no idea what the orville is.

Started watching the new Netfix series 'Dirty John' last night.

I am familiar with the story from a podcast series I listened to, and it is very interesting.

The show looks good so far. Very good character portrayals by Connie Britton and Eric Bana.

It runs 8 x 1 hr episodes.

Cleaning Up

The ITV drama series starring Sheridan Smith and the awesome Neil Maskell in a glorious supporting part. As usual with ITV this is purely aimed at women and is beyond dumb, which should appeal to fans of The Bodyguard, Line of Duty and all that crap. Sheridan plays Sam a mother of three kids office cleaner who is in a lot of debt and has a gambling problem. To help appeal to the target audience she is strong, independent and separated from her cheating husband. At work Sam hatches the idea of snooping on a dude who is doing illegal insider trading, using the info to get her out of her spiralling life. With help from her bang tidy best mate Jess played by Jade Anouka they have a bit of success. And that is when the real drama comes. Sam's gambling causes problems, she still loves her ex, Maskell's debt collector won't leave her be and the authorities know something is up after they arrest her unknowing mole. The end of the series decides it is a spin on the old Newman/Redford film The Sting too. Fucking shite. The things we put up with to get laid sometimes. Luckily the wife thought it was shit too, so it was a good laugh just watching how bad this bullshit was. The ending was embarrassing for all involved.

2/10 Avoid, unless you have a vagina in your brain.

What's everyone's thoughts on the upcoming Breaking Bad movie. Supposed to be centred around Jesse and set after the events of the finale.

Saw one of the most disturbing and mind blowing documentaries on Netflix last night.

'Abducted In Plain Sight' is the true story of what begins with the abduction of a 12 year old girl and proceeds through the absurd to the ridiculous to the disgraceful, and back again.

If this was a work of fiction people would consider it too far fetched.

naw sure i mentioned his but watched The Last kingdom.

I fuckin like it.

A wee bit daft in parts with the hero always coming through against all odds type shit but decent story, good characters, the lead guy is sexy enough and there's no massive gaffs.

Season 4 is in production.

started watching Peaky Blinders. On season 2. thought the 1st season was pretty good, actually. I'd watched 2 episodes a couple of years ago but couldn't take the accents but i always thought i'd go back to it so i just watch it on mute with subtitles.

Love , Death and Robots on Netflix. Sci-fi shorts 10-18mins a pop , some good , some great. You cold almost describe it as a 2000ad TV show. Its well worth watching.

Watched the 1st episode of a 6 part mini-series called 'The Bay'.

Made somewhat along the lines of Broadchurch and looks very watchable so far.

Started watching the third series of Daredevil last night. Three episodes in and it's good so far, though the Daredevil character himself is getting kinda annoying with all this self pity bollocks. It's already better than the Defenders and Luke Cage. This new phone is a godsend. Haven't watched a show in over a year and have a bit to catch up on.

I like both those actors a lot. Heard of the story, but had no idea it had become a TV show. Cheers. :thumbsup
