Finished The Mandalorian. I thought the first episode was a bit ropey, the humour was off and the effects for the creatures he rode were poor. But it got better from there, it's not great but overall found it entertaining. I did find it odd having a lead character who's face you never see, so from an acting and story telling perspective that I guess was challenging. Am looking forward to the next season.

Just finished Mr Robot season 4. I thought season 3 was a but hit and miss, but this final season was stronger and decent end. I thought the ending was going to go of on some real weird tangent but it the ending comes together pretty well at the end. Overall Mr Robot has to be one of the better TV in recent years.

Watched eps 3 &4 last night @Yolo Swaggins

Powerful stuff. So good the episodes seem to go so fast.

Little wonder Valery Legasov commited suicide. A man with a conscience who circumstance was very unkind to.

Hanging (pun intended) to watch the final ep tonight.

Just finished Silicon Valley, it went out on a fairly high not. Not the best season but an ending I can accept, Gavin kept being hilarious all the way, tho Jared dropped his usual epic awkwardness a bit. I do with they touched more on the dark side of feeding AI with... well, the internet, there's more than one doomsday scenario projected and Google's already passed the Turing Test.

Aye, Jared Harris' character radiates in every scene.

I watched a few epsiodes of Treadstone, the jason bourne follow up on prime

it’s terrible, it really tries to imitate the films too much(they even did an unconscious underwater wake up scene) and the acting and writing is piss poor.

Waterboarding and LSD Sounds pretty good at this point

I got to the fourth episode and realised I neither care or who knew what was happening and had no interest in any of the characters.

@Joe The wife had me watching His Darkest Materials, the Phillip Pullman adaptation. I didn't rate it that much, I think they crammed too much in and added bits from the second book which made it not work.

I don't like it either, I gave up after 3 episodes which is a shame because I loved the books and this looked so good in the promo's they've clearly spent quite a bit of money on it. But I honestly didn't care about any of the characters, they just seem to run around doing stuff, everything felt rushed to me in terms of the story, you have no time to flesh out the characters and process what it means when something significant happens. Moments that in the book which were climatic or important lose all meaning because of it.

It's a shame because this had all the ingredients to be a cracking show, good cast, money, promotion even a good writer, but something in the development process went wrong.

Been watching Kingdom on Netflix.

I guess it's the Korean walking dead. Zombie show but set in the 16th century, with political intrigue as the ill king has not been seen in many days and the young prince and heir is prevented from seeing him by the orders of the new queen who is pregnant, which if a boy will oust the current prince as the current heir's mother was only a concubine. Is the king alive or is he dead or something worse?

While all this is happening the people are suffering, small pox ravages the population and people are starving while the aristocracy ignore their plight and only serve themselves, which is stoking the fires of rebellion.

Just finished episode 4 which was pretty damn good, if you like zombies and can put up with subtitles, worth a watch based off the first 4 episodes.

Love, Death Robots - utter shyte. Short episodes so watched about a dozen, but it's recycled unfunny boring stuff all over with virtue signaling and stuff.
