Tried to get into Bloodline.
but it blows, trying to hard to be dramatic.
Yeah very forced acting, poor writing I think, that brunette was very bangable thoughFelt the same. Had the makings of a good show, but lacked in execution.
I loved the first series, but never followed it up. I just don't watch a lot of episodic TV, so I tend to forget about stuff.Currently working my way through season 3 of Legion. I'd totally forgotten about this show after season 2, only twigged today season 3 would of been released already.
3 episodes in and good to see the quality of the show hasn't diminished. Just as trippy and weird as the other seasons so far, feels like I'm on an acid trip half the time lol. We finally get to see a young Charles Xavier in this season, this is unlike any other Marvel show or film, makes Deadpool look mundane and middle of the road.
Season 2 was more up and done but ended on a high (and brave) note, s3 total shitshow. Must say Fargo s4 is also total trash right now also from Noah Hawley.I loved the first series, but never followed it up. I just don't watch a lot of episodic TV, so I tend to forget about stuff.
Might try get back into it if I remember.
It seems a difficult story to keep going at the level of the first series.Season 2 was more up and done but ended on a high (and brave) note, s3 total shitshow. Must say Fargo s4 is also total trash right now also from Noah Hawley.
I really enjoyed the 2nd series of Ghosts.
It's a bbc sitcom from the Horrible Histories team, where a young woman inherits a country house, and after an accident can see the ghosts that haunt it.
Its very light and family friendly, but it's really good fun.
People told me to watch this but you may know, I cannot stand 'clever girl' movies. All right The Queen's Gambit was class! Yeah a classic style tale, from orphanage to sports heights, girl power in a very male dominated world and whatnot, but with smart writing ahead of the viewer, very nice period details, fitting music and Anya Taylor-Joy bringing joy, sorry and energy to each scene with a solid cast, plus some surprises in a series about chess and much more, this turned out pretty good even if not in the Chernobyl class of unforgettable... which is no shame.
P. S. I'd VERY much like to check that box and mate with Ms. Taylor-Joy. She's wonderful.
She's wonderful as a redhead, the blonde/brunette looks don't really do it for me. Those brown eyes and copper red hair combo she has is irresistible though. All right The Queen's Gambit was class! You like them bitches sticking to bearing cubs and doing housework?I cannot stand 'clever girl' movies.
