This used to be English football back in the early 90s. It was more violent and rugged going further back through time. Unfortunately foreigners are pathetic as a people in general so have ruined our game turning into a bastardisation of the soccer you get abroad. The type of antics that Spanish, South American, African or Italian players get up to really does taint the sport. Those peoples see diving, flopping and cheating as a way of life, it is why you can never trust them on or off the pitch.

Star wars.

Always been a Sci fi and fantasy fan, and I also like the samurai movies that inspired it.

Star wars has always been a bit "meh" for me. I've not even watched them all, but I've never really liked what I've seen.

Don't get me wrong, some of the films are OK, but I don't find any of them great.

This is possibly my age. I think I missed any of them being released when I was the right age to enjoy them.

I'm agreeing to an extent with the football posts, though I do still enjoy watching games, I don't follow the sport religiously like I used to. But I'm not sure if that's just football or sports in general. I used to be a huge, huge boxing fan and I'd stay up to watch until 5am to watch pretty much any fight that was on, but I'm just not as interested. I'm not sure if Sky's horrific coverage has just put me off.

I find it odd that it has such a rabidly dedicated fanbase. I like the original trilogy but they were never my favourites or anything. I just see them as good, fun sci fi films with some pretty memorable characters.

Then again, I'm someone who thinks about Dark Souls night and day so who am I to say anything?

The nfl draft. I love college football, probably more so than the nfl. So you would think the transition point for players would be something I'd get into. I hate it. I used to enjoy it but it got so big that it's virtually all the sports news in America from now until mid April. Its quite annoying to be honest

Nascar. Love racing. Like oval racing. Watch stock cars at local short tracks several times a year and on TV, I have a network that airs short track racing from around the country. Nascar just doesn't do much for me outside a few races a year.

I consider myself to be a very intelligent individual (some might argue differently) but I just don't understand Star Wars and the other films after.

No idea what's going on for most of it.

Yes, I am an idiot.

Look it up on YouTube. Basically a style of metal where the guitarists almost always play a 7 or 8 string guitar, with added emphasis on a rhythmic, thumping top string. It's in the same vain as Meshuggah but it got carried away. It gets old fast but somehow people love that shit.

Crusader Kings should be EXACTLY my shit. But I can't even begin to teach myself how to actually play it.

:hat
I play EU4 and HOI4 but for some reason I struggle with CK. Tried several times but I just get lost. Don't get me wrong, I'm bad at the other games but I have some semblance of an idea what's going on.

cyclocross.

the fitness of road cycling combined with the bike skills of mountain biking. except riding that course on that bike is fucking stupid, why are they doing it at all?

if i started an event where you run across the sahara in ski boots or sailed across the atlantic in a canal boat, people would just say it is stupid.

I'm not a fan of djent it's unfortunate that Frederik Thordendal started the trend it's the only bad thing meshuggah has ever done IMO.

I just can't get in to Pink Floyd, I do enjoy Progressive and Experimental Rock Music but I just can't get in to them. I'm that guy who listened to 'Dark Side of the Moon' and just went 'Meh'.

Summers. As a kid going to school I use to long for summer to arrive to be out of classes for 3 months and do pretty much what I wanted, when I wanted.

Those days are long gone for me now. I actually hate summers now with the oppressive heat and humidity that sucks the life out of me every time I step outdoors. I blame it on getting use to having A/C as it has taken my tolerance for the elements of summer that I was acclimated to as a youth.

Growing up from a kid of the early 50's and into my mid 20's in 78 depending on nothing but a large whole house window fan to cool things down found me able to tolerate our hot, humid summer days and would often be outside working all day long. That was before I had a house with A/C, but once I got it, summers got increasingly intolerable for me.
