I've been on a bit of a spending spree on random stuff.

I bought a pair of barefoot shoes.

I spent about £100+ on books from Amazon, from physiology, biology, and general diet and fasting books.

I also bought some premium olive oil from Greece, which costs a pretty penny per bottle. I bought three bottles.

I also bought a set of kettlebells. The heaviest ones are 28kg and 32kg. I want to master the Turkish get up, so want to progress from the lighter kettlebell up to the heaviest eventually.

I have spent a fair amount since Xmas, so need to calm down a bit now.

I'm the same after Xmas. There's something about buying gifts for people and then all the sales before and after that get you into the habit of spending and so you just keep spending in Jan and before you know it, you've spent a small fortune.

I've been on spending spree too this month and need to calm down.

Bought some Adidas powerlift 4's for my squat days.

Bought a new Levi's Sherpa Trucker jacket that was on sale.

Bought a ton of other clothes, jeans, T-shirts, henley tops etc.

Bought some new weight plates as I don't have enough and looking to hit a PB soonish on deadlift.

Nice I've been looking to get myself a Casio G-Shock watch. Got my eye on the Casio G Shock GA-2100 -A1 but can't find anyone that stocks it at the moment.

You naw fancy a running watch?

Got one for xmas and I love it. no longer have to take my phone, strapped to my arm. Watch stores music through spotify and has GPS and give some great data.

I just use my phone to be honest for GPS tracking while it's not as accurate as say a Garmin which I have owned previously, it does the job. Though in the winter when I wear a long sleeved top my arm strap always slips, which is kind of fucking annoying as I readjust it every few minutes.

Might stump up the cash for another Garmin at some point but not just yet, running for me at the moment is just something I do for a bit of cardio I don't have any targets like with my lifting. Maybe after my bulk and I start cutting again and running more I'll get some running goals again and then look into getting one.

That's what was really annoying me, man. Also, because i always sprint the thing would slip even more unless i really tightened to the point i felt it was cutting on circulation...which is probably wasn't but i had it in my head at that point.

Those arm things for ur phone are fucking painful. I have a small fanny pack thing which is a bit better, but ideally I would have my music downloaded to my watch. The next Garmin I get, I'll make sure I can download music to it.

Defintely worth it, man.

Sounds silly but it's kinda liberating being out with no phone, just your watch and headphones. Also set up Garmin pay in case of emergencies.
