Daniel Lewis is keen to fight Tim Tszyu but it is very unlikely to eventuate. At least any time soon.

Well maximum respect to Tsyzu if he takes this fight. If he loses it can rightly put to lack of experience at world level.

Others like Conor Benn need to show the same kind of ambition.
Sadly, boxing is, in the main, a very calculated business these days. All the more reason to give credit to someone for a taking a risk.

Doesn't look like Tszyu will be getting a shot at Teixeira and the WBO title this year.

Hearing Dennis Hogan is firming as Tim Tszyu's next opponent.

Similar fighter to Horn in a lot of ways, Hogan. Tough, comes in and punches from strange angles.

Michael Zerafa has rejected an offer to fight Tim Tszyu

The managers of Michael Zerafa have declined an offer for Zerafa to fight Tim Tszyu at the end of year. Zerafa's managers Sam Labruna and Brendan Bourke have both confirmed they have declined an offer due to money.

"Tim Tszyu proved he's a world class fighter by dominating Jeff Horn in Australia last month. Credit to promoter Matt Rose for putting on such a huge event in a stadium. Unfortunately the offer he gave us didn't come close to stadium money," stated Labruna

"I'm not sure who else they can get under the pandemic restrictions," stated Labruna. "It was disappointing considering the big money on the table. It's the sort of fight offer you get when they really don't want the fight."

It's all very well Labruna saying who can Tszyu get other than Zerafa but who can Zerafa get other than Tszyu? Mundine?

Zerafa wants this fight. Make no mistake about that and his management are just trying to milk a better deal. But if they can't get one, I suspect Zerafa will instruct them to accept anyway. What's his alternative? A farce against Mundine?

Who is coaching Tsyzu?
Is the veteran coach Johnny Lewis still active.

I cannot for the life of me think of the name of Tim's trainer. He is an overseas guy. Think he is Russian? He is the guy about to shake Glenn Rushton's hand in the picture below :

Johnny Lewis doesn't train these days. He had a very minor interest in someone not long ago as a family favour but that's about it.

Sounds like team Tszyu made their offer to Michael Zerafa because their initial target, Dennis Hogan, has instead accepted a fight in the US.

Team Zerafa's plan B, if they don't accept Tszyu's offer, has been confirmed as Anthony Mundine in Bendigo.

Bendigo is a terrific venue and I really enjoyed going there for the first Horn-Zerafa fight. But I wouldn't cross the fucking street to watch a disgraceful, money grabbing farce like Zerafa-Mundine.

Even if Tszyu-Morgan gets made I'm not sure how they will go about facilitating it? One would think it would do best financially if held in Australia.

I read Michael Zerafa was offered $75,000 to fight Tim Tszyu and $35,000 to fight Anthony Mundine.

Zerafa's team chose the lesser money, no risk fight.

Tim Tszyu has moved to #10 in the RING rankings. Starting to get some serious cred.
