Great day for you there.

I've got my phone with me to post the notes I made for the past period. Can't handle doing it easy straight from my phone so been waiting to get on the family laptop. Wife has needing it for her working from home stuff.

Think I'll be writing off most of this 14 days. Diet wise I've got a load of good stuff in apart from enough straight up protein, we stocked the freezer which meant fish fingers, pizza and breaded chicken. I mean its the type of stuff that keeps you going and makes you feel good, but damn it ain't for no training regime. So far I've avoided bread and crisps, but due to a birthday in the family we've a shit load of chocolate. That will zonk anything I try doing to stay reasonable too. First couple of days I made great healthy meals, chicken breast and salad. Unfortunately Ferrero Rochers.

Fitness wise I'm not feeling up to doing much. I did some resistance training again, not enough to even get a 1 point day though.
Ah don't be too hard on yourself... I've found it rather difficult to stick to the diet when I've got so many things of bloody instant noodles around... to be honest, having them within arm's reach has been the only thing that's kept me from logging perfect scores (or near to) all weekend (including Friday)... Every time I'm almost on a perfect day I get hungry and eat some.
But I need to have them around, who knows what tomorrow will bring? These are trying times.

Day 33
20/3/2020

New best! Walked into work for a twelve hour day, and had three pieces of delicious, healthy sushi for breakfast. Lunch was a salad with peach and sweet potato... I worked until 9pm and decided to get an uber home... not so much for the walk, but that I couldn't be arsed with getting home close to midnight. I weakened and ate three serves of noodles last thing before bed. Absolute pisser of a thing. That's a subtraction of a point for late eating, and one for heavy carbs.

My mission not to fuck it up on the weekend was a flop, but... yeah, having a backup supple of food, especially noodles, isn't something I'd normally have around to sabotage myself with!

Up early for the walk tomorrow!

Hey @NSFW, how've you been?

I've been locked down for 10 days now and have been eating pretty stupid.... it doesn't even feel worth recording days when I sleep in until 2pm, eat instant noodles, flop around the house and then fall asleep watching netflix..

Somehow though I seem to still have lost some weight??

Weighed in around 125kgs the last two days!

Lockdown for last 3 weeks. Household went into isolation at the start of that for two weeks. Netflix and chill most days, catching up on loads of reading, but my exercise is minimal. Diet is ok in general though nothing to pick up points for this wise.

The world is crazy right now, still can't get my head round it all. My fitness regime is taking a back seat. I'd not wanted to admit that.

Back at work as of mid last week and in dire need of the movement!

Quarantine was four weeks of utter stupidity, and am looking forward to the long walks to and from work tomorrow!

Weighed in at 134.4kgs this morning which, through some immense bloody miracle, is less than I was at the start of this thread (before the whole COVID situation shut down the gyms and everything).... I managed to eat fairly sparingly throughout the first two weeks but for the last two I went absolutely stir-crazy and found myself ordering uber eats every day...

Scouted the local sports oval (with adjoining basketball courts) and will start doing jump-rope early in the morning henceforth (as I'm only doing a couple of days a week at the moment).

Tonight, I'm watching some Netflix and having a last blowout, burger and fries and a small chocolate mousse. Tomorrow I'll aim to do the long walk to and from work, so no early rise for jump rope probably until Friday!

How has your lockdown been @NSFW ?

I'm in good shape thanks. Eaten fairly well, mostly fruit during the day, shake for breakfast and a good meal in the evening. Had a delivery of lean meat of all types at the start of lockdown so used that up. The comfort meals have been decent too so I'm happy in that regard. Mostly managed to keep treats low, hard when the nights are spent watching movies or TV shows.

We've been fairly good as a family together, nice having time together. Weather has helped. Fitness wise I'm ticking over with resistance bands or walking. Looking forward to getting to the gym and trying to build muscle. I can't think I'd get any days above 0 points though. Not sure when that will change.

Do you think you'll get a real kick on with this now? Glad you are sounding happy

Yeah mate, that's the plan! Realistically, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, essentially paid to do one or two days a week and the week to myself, I'd be an idiot to waste it.

Done a couple of quick orientation sessions on the home rower, and ready to get it rolling from Monday morning!

Eating was stellar today, had some tinned tuna with a half cup of boiled rice. For dinner, 500g low fat sausages. Probably just a lack of leafy greens to hold things down, but as a day 1 effort I think it was pretty awesome! Cracked 3 points! Finished up the day with some upper body weight exercises. Bicep curls, and shoulder flyes.

Not hard to knock out the first day's weigh in when you were carrying the remnants of your last splurge meal.

Cracked out some very good exercise today! 5 rounds of speed rope, which I can still nail pretty well, but given I'm so out of shape it actually started to challenge my joints a bit... not scary, stabbing pains, but I thought it best not to push myself too hard... They were only two minute rounds (I'll build back up to three) with one minute break. Followed it up with five two minute rounds on the rower as I watched some Netlfix. Overall a good, solid 20 minutes of cardio. Once again had some low fat sausages, this time banged up a home made currywurst sauce. Had some plant based yoghurt afterwards, so excellent eating all up.

Slept in quite a bit today, before cracking out the speed rope. Joints still ache a little from it, so took it easier with seven 1:00 rounds and a 2:00 round. Followed it up with some weights, again, bicep curls and shoulder flyes. Went over the shop and bought ingredients for a big beef stroganoff, which seemed healthy in principle, but didn't seem so healthy when I was done dumping in tonnes of sour cream...

Still, delicious and carb free, if not fatty and bloody massive lol. I'm still marking that a 3 as it was my only meal of the day and didn't break the carb rules.

Stayed up far too late last night, just watching TV and dicking around... It just sort of put my day out of kilter. I slept too late, got up and decided I wanted to put a chicken paprikash on my slow cooker, so it was over to the supermarket in my everyday clothes to buy ingredients.

Brought back the chicken thighs and other fixins, threw it in the pot and set it to four hours... Then sat down with my traditional pre-workout coffee... Got a video call from my mate overseas and before I knew it I was sipping red wine.

Eventually ended the call and went to get changed for exercise and couldn't find my air pods... the whole day was just stupid. I eventually did some bicep curls and dumbell flyes while I watched TV.

Dock myself a point for the red wine, but the paprikash was awesome, and really not as fatty as I thought... about 30g for my only meal of the day...

Quite surprised by that weigh in! Without a decent sweat I was expecting some kind of break-even scenario!

Changed my routine to 10 x 1 min rounds of rope with one minute breaks, more to save the strain on my joints... Happy with the level of fitness... Went for some rounds on the rower, aimed for five but flaked after two because I was starving.

Picked up six beef sausages (quite low in fat) and had them with some gravy. Followed it with two serves of diet jelly...

Okay, this is a bit more what I expected to see yesterday morning. Fluctuations like this are completely normal though and I won't be too discouraged.

Last night I stayed up entirely too late and I just ended up having a very disorganised day. Took a phone call from some friends overseas, which pushed my exercise back an hour. Then when it was time to do my jump rope, I couldn't find my airpods. That kind of day.

The eating was excellent however, wanted to have a vegetarian day and found my local supermarket was selling discount felafels. Had about 12 of them with eggplant dip, hommous and beetroot dip. Very filling and very low in fat and carbs.

Hit the hay quite late.

So it was a work day today and my sleep pattern is still messed up, so after pushing the snooze alarm to its absolute limit I jumped out of bed, straight into the shower, and I was hoofing down coffee and breakfast before I even remembered to weigh in. I decided not to have a corrupted weigh in and just leave it until tomorrow.

Breakfast was another pack of felafels with beetroot dip and hommous, at work I had a piece of katsu chicken and salad, and then after work some more felafels with dip.

My stumbling point was beer. I bought myself a 24 pack of low carb beers and in the evening drank 12 of them, along with two shots of scotch on a video call. All in all the beers contained 20g of carbs, so not bad at all, but this kind of drinking is disastrous for any diet. And I wouldn't have eaten anything at 11:30pm if I wasn't pissed. So that's a two point loss. No exercise either.

I permitted myself one hangover day to be pathetic. Spent most of the day laying around like a piece of shit, then went and ordered a massive amount of food.

I am happy that I mostly dodged carbs however. I blew my allotment of fat to kingdom come, but didn't have the morale-breaker of breaking the carb rule.

Late lunch was some brie and half a packet of salami and a four egg omelette with the rest of the salami cooked in. Dinner was some oven bake chicken tenders. I had a very late snack of the other two eggs scrambled with a tin of tuna. No exercise, too much fat, too much overall food. But I salvage a point for avoiding carbs and sugar.

The exact weigh in I deserved, but no time to piss and moan about it. I slept in some then hooked right into my jump rope, 10 x 1 minute rounds, before hitting the rower for 5 x 2 minute rounds. For my main meal of the day I threw a large sweet potato, peeled and chopped, into the slow cooker on high for a couple of hours, and it was delicious! Followed it with a plant-based yogurt. Drank five low carb beers at night while on a video call with some mates.

That's the business! Cracked out ten rounds of jump rope again and felt better than ever... so much better in fact that I decided to finish the last round with ten seconds of double-unders! Went upstairs to do my five rounds of rowing.... I kind of flaked after two, and went over to the shops for some more veggies to throw in the stock pot. This time it was carrots and mushrooms! Simple and healthy stuff. Also had some plant-based yoghurt. Had two serves of low-carb jelly at night and that was it.

A weird break even weigh in, but nothing to fret about. Went about my jump rope routine, and within two rounds I started too feel pain in my ankles, probably due to my idiotic double-under heroics from yesterday... I never try to push my luck when it comes to my joints, so I decided to dispense with the rope workout and instead went for a massive walk. It was about three hours all-in-all, but unfortunately I drank entirely too much along the way. All low carb beers, but stupid behaviour none the less.

Eating was pretty good. Two serves of the felafels with various dips, and some plant-based yoghurt, but docked a point for excessive drinking.

Well, I woke up with a pounding headache. I guess I drank more than I thought I did! Felt absolutely awful, spent the first big chunk of the day laying around and nothing. My weigh in has to be partly due to dehydration from the hangover.

When I finally did drag my sorry self out of bed, I ate like a bit of a dickhead.

Camembert and cured meats, half a chicken and two regular yoghurts... The yoghurts have more sugar than the usual plant based ones I've taken a liking to, and I failed big time with a huge bag of chips.

Losing a point for excessive fatty food and another for the chips.

Went on another walk for a couple of hours, and drank beers along the way again.

Not too surprised on that one. Ate a vegan pie before taking public transport to work, and was much, much better with the diet and drinking today. I had a vegetarian burger for lunch without the bread or fries, and the same for dinner. Halloumi, eggplant and a good whack of leafy greens on the day! Only about five beers in total for the entire day! Three of them were on the 9km walk home. Had two low-carb protein bars on the walk as well, straight to bed.

That's more like it! As usual, I notice a greater drop in weight after a vegetarian day. I had a complete day off from exercise today and don't feel too guilty about it. I must've walked something close to 30kms over the previous four days. It felt good to take it easy. And much better not waking up with a hangover.

On the way home last night I stopped at the supermarket and picked up a loaf of Herman Brot low carb bread, which is about 5g of carbs per two slices (compared to 30g per two slices like almost all other bread). Had two toasted sandwiches for breakfast, each one with a small tin of flavoured tuna and some kewpie mayo. For lunch I had two slices with nuttelex and vegmite, then for dinner another tune and kewpie mayo sandwich, followed by two tubs of protein yoghurt (6g of carbs each)... I had two more tins of flavoured tuna and a slice of Herman Brot with vegemite.

Late eating is never recommended but in this case I'll cut myself a break.

Most likely due to bloat. Could be a variety of factors, including eating so much of the low carb bread. I also drank a lot of sugar free soft drink at the end of the night, which is loaded with sodium and would cause me to retain fluids.

Anyway, trust the system and all that. Had two more tuna toasties with the last of the low carb bread before vising my folks. Had plenty of barbecue meat and salad for lunch. Walked home, which was about 7kms.

With the recent easing of restrictions, went to a mate's place for a few beers and some late lunch... worked out to be a lot of drinks and plenty of bomb chicken kara'age!
