Day at work was longer than I anticipated due to some weird scheduling things. A co-worker was leaving this weekend so I ended up having some beers after work. Bought some stupid shit from the convenience store on the way home.

Saturday is a designated boozy day, started with the same keto Korean breakfast, then hammered the lower carb ciders, drank entirely too much, then got home later after the rugby league, and ordered a kebab and salad box with bread.

Write-off of a day. Slept in, ate a banh mi, instant noodles and yogurt. Went to work for an hour and a bit, had four low carb beers then came home. Stayed up late for West Ham v Tottenham and ate a kebab durum and fries. Fries were fucking dreadful, but ate them anyway, like a true addict.

This is what I get... the 30 day mark and I've backslid something awful...

Korean keto food for breakfast, a small bag of trail mix and some seaweed salad for lunch, roast beef and vegetables for dinner. Excellent eating.

10 x 1 min rounds of speed rope, then hit a heavy bag for the first time in years... Holy fucking cow. It nearly killed me. I hoped for 5 x 2 minute rounds, got through 2 and a half rounds.

Still, that's a strong 5-pointer to return to form.

Same breakfast, no workout as the gym closes early on a Friday... I picked up half a chicken on the way home, screwed up and got fries with it rather than salad. I had such good intentions! But they dumped a huge batch of freshly made fries in the steel thing as I stood there and I just caved.

Slept in, day was a write-off. But eating was very good. Had a dinner with family and made excellent choices, having only chicken and vegetables at the restaurant. I then went to the supermarket later at night and picked up some light yoghurts. Pretty great effort!

That's more like it! Although I've been treading water for weeks now.

Breakfast was the usual day off meal of a Vietnamese banh mi, then went to the gym for the best workout I've done since well before lockdowns. Ten rounds of rope followed by five rounds of heavy bag, then one more round of rope to cool down. It's the first time I've gotten in there on a day off - where I'd normally flop around the house and watch Netflix - and gave it a good effort. For that I'm giving myself a 3!

My heavy bag isn't great, several things that used to be second nature are just shit at the moment; picoting out, low/high combos, doubling up the hook... in fact, the hooks in general, which used to be my best punches... but still, love being back hitting the bag again.

Had another banh mi after workout.

EDIT: went for a walk in the rain at night time, and picked up some curry with the intention of skipping the rice, and in the shock of the century, ate all the rice that had sauce on it. Ended up about half of it.

Best weigh in after a weekend yet. Korean keto food for breakfast, then some seaweed salad for lunch. Had about four pints of low carb beer at work then caved and had some chorizo and brie at dinner time. Still keto, but was aiming to eat nothing at dinner time. Got into the gym for 10 x 1 min rounds of rope and 5 x 1 min rounds on heavy bag.

Decided to change up my breakfast routine for budgetary reasons, and had a banh mi for breakfast and still a seaweed salad for lunch. Drank too much after work and didn't bloody exercise. All low carb beers though, and massive plus for not making a pack of dumb eating decisions! I'll not dock myself a point for excessive drinking as I broke that habit!
