As usual, Tuesday was a day of guilt-driven motivation. Had three low fat sausages for breakfast and then some squid at midday sharp.
Had a Caesar salad with smoked salmon for lunch and had some charcoal chicken after work. A bit fatty, but still low carb.
Hit the gym for a half hour on the treadmill.

Once again three sausages for breakfast. This time it was too fuckin’ busy for s midday snack, so didn’t eat until 2:30pm for my usual salad.
Went to the shopping centre on the way home for some groceries and went to my he Indian takeaway for some curry without rice.
I think I have to name that shopping centre a no go zone for now.... went to the other supermarket yesterday and didn’t even think about fast food!
Another half hour on the treadmill!

Three sausages and a hard boiled egg for breakfast, then the same salad for lunch on another physical work day. The aim was to skip dinner and do a workout, but then I decided to have dinner (a lean beef stew and the other three sausages) and still go to the gym.... then I skipped the gym because I was burnt. Damn, a two point swing.

Ive gone from 120 to 106 since my last post in this thread.

I think calling a bad day a 0 is wrong, you have to give yourself a -1.

Nah, having very good days on my diet on a keto programme, but hectic schedule at work due to the Sydney Mardi Gras festival, which peaks next Saturday. So I'm basically not working out.
My job is physical enough, but I can't wait to be training again.

Resetting the counter tomorrow!

Had a good thing going until Melbourne Cup, which usually heralds the beginning of the busy season at work, and this year, despite all the fuckery, was no different. Over about two months I'd lost (or manipulated the scales to the effect of) about 10kgs, but hit a backslide recently.

I'll weigh in tomorrow and get back on with the training, etc, as my gym is now open 24 hours again.

Day 1
24/11/2020
136.8kgs

Well, that represents a loss of about 4kgs after a whole 9 weeks of dieting, which is kind of a shit effort really. Ate a "last meal" of Thai food with rice last night. Hardly a blow out, but something I'd denied myself over and over for the longest time. Got up this morning too late to buy a banh mi so ordered some sushi maki rolls for breakfast when I got to work. Ate nothing else for the rest of the day, but slipped up and ordered some curry without rice from the take away.

Decent first day, but no gym.

Banh mi for breakfast, and a moderately physical day. Once again, messed up and ate Indian curry without rice and it was immensely overrated

Well thank fuck 2020 is over. Just worked a hectic December function season and drank like a fucking idiot the whole time. Absolutely killed the momentum I'd built up. Spent the last two days off work (first time in ages, not counting Christmas) and did little more than nap, eat and binge the latest season of Cobra Kai.

Weighed in tonight at 144kgs, which is surely influenced by the day's eating and the drinking of several litres of coke zero. Meaningful weigh in tomorrow as we take yet another swing at self-improvement. Only time you can't afford to lose is the last time you try and shit...

Day 1

142.1kgs

Stellar eating day today. Had a fucking bee under my bonnet about starting off with a 3 point day, which can only be a good thing.

Banh mi for breakfast, some shaved chicken and hommus as a midday snack, then a vegetarian salad loaded with leafy greens for late lunch. Nothing else for the rest of the day.

Got off work nice and early with all the desire to hit the gym, but that slowly died over the course of the evening. Finally, at about 11pm, I decided something was better than nothing and took myself out for a 40 minute walk. It was kind of a recon mission as much as anything; my fangled new gym membership is for one of those huge chains, which allows you to visit any one of their branches. I find the one I normally visit a little too poseurish, so I decided to check one out that was a little farther away in the other direction, in more of a residential area. Found they had a better cardio section and seemed a little more laid back, so that's good!

Day 2

139.6kgs

Somewhat expected result after the rousing dietary success! Took it a step further in the right direction today eating only salads rather than a banh mi for breakfast... I'd simply been unprepared for work and couldn't stop at any of the usual banh mi joints.

First reflex was to fall back into old habits and order a chicken BLT from the local cafe, which I did. However I took only three bites before chucking the bread away, eating the innards and then going back and ordering a big caesar salad! Reckon I deserve a pat on the back for that one!

Lunch was another big salad (this time a chicken pesto/vegan beetroot half-and-half affair) and have since only had four instant miso soups over the evening.

All round great shit! HEAPS of leafy greens, lean meats and no solids after 3pm.

Still almost no motivation to train, although that never shows up right away...

Day 3

Absolutely stellar eating again. This time I got my banh mi, then for lunch it was the same big salad. Had a few low carb beers after work, and walked home, which took about an hour and fifty minutes.

Excellent eating again, this time a big salad for both breakfast and lunch! Another walk home, but drank a little too much after work, so I'll subtract a point.

Day 5
138.5kgs

Today was a bit of a pisser. Saturdays are a tough nut to crack for me, and I ate a bit loose and silly. Breakfast was a banh mi, but lunch was basically nacho fries with chicken. I didn't read the chalkboard properly and thought I'd be getting a bunch of chicken, avocado, sour cream and corn pico de gallo, but didn't read anything about the bed of potato wedges. Still ate a few of them. Ended up having to work late, and ate a steak pie at about 1am after work... in my defense, it'd been about nine hours since I'd eaten anything by then, but I'm still docked another point.

Day 6
138.1kgs

Wow, still a loss. I suppose I was on my feet for about 15 hours rather than seven, but didn't expect it! Had a short day at work and ate the Sunday roast, which was beef brisket, with roasted veggies. Some potato in amongst the orange stuff, but that's alright. Had a few beers (the non-low carb kind) and at night, weakened and had a meal. It was mostly alright; a lamb gyro/yeeros with salad, but also had some instant ramen. HAd low carb, high protein yoghurt with berries for dessert. Healthy but entirely too much.

Day 7

138.5kgs

Typical day off really: plenty of naps, some laundry, and decent eating. Banh mi for breakfast and some leftover low carb yoghurt.

Only slip up was eating the other instant ramen I had sitting there from the night before.

Dinner was 6 x low fat beef sausages followed by the last of the low carb yoghurt and raspberries.
