Often we learn little things. Often they are even quite interesting. Post them here!

For example, I just learned that Lego don't make military sets, because the creator of Lego felt very strongly that he didn't want his toys to make war seem like something fun for children.

If you learn little things, add them to our collective pool of forum knowledge. :good

My kids have a load of Lego. They have one of those movie maker things on the IPad too. They pretty much only make zombie apocalypse movies. You can get a fantastic array of Lego weaponry, shot guns, assault rifles, side arms, knives....all kinds of stuff.

But not tanks or bombers or artillery.

Or so I understand. :good

With their pivot to licensed properties, weapons are inevitably going to turn up. But I don't think Lego does any military-worship sets, even now.

It's a great toy. I can't remember ever seeing any directly military sets or figures. Obviously much of the licensed set are military themed in terms of Star Wars, Pirates of Caribbean and such. I would not count that though.

My favorite thing the kids do is making Mad Max style cars and trucks to film.

TIL... Not to turn the heat up too high on the second fry when making Korean Fried Chicken or you burn the shit out of it, also learned that breast fillets cut into wing size pieces is not the equivalent of bone-in chicken pieces .

I learned that Frøbjerg Bavnehøj (Frogmountain Beaconhill) is Fyn's (Funen's) highest point at 131 metres above sea level and that I want to buy a farm there

Today I learned that I will never bet on the Saturday afternoon kick off, Leicester will never be the same without kante

And if I bet, write it down so I don't end up with the same team on 3 separate accumulates

Also just realised David price would spam all of Joshua's opponents sharpish

If I need more than 10 items from the supermarket I'd better write it all down or I'll forget something. Got to go back for sweet potatoes now.
I'm exactly the same as you. Went down to the shops yesterday for breadcakes (rolls to you US folk) and biscuits. I came back with three loaves of bread, pack of rolls, breakfast pancakes and no biscuits.

Not to mention you usually forget what you really went there for in the first place, the 9 other things are just "might aswell since I'm here"
