I agree with a lot of that and thanks for your reply. But I could easily be wrong but I think Sanders has as much chance as Corbyn has over here. Biden got somewhat savaged in the debate. Hope Im wrong but unless something happens, which it well could given the time left, I still think Trump gets it. I hope something happens to his chickenhawk colleague Bolton between now and next year though.
Debates dont mean that much in reality, if, god help us all, the libs elect Biden Trump might keep it close. However i still feel Trump has little chance. Thats just my opinion based on the fervent hatred of him, the midterms and how narrowly he won the last election running against the unelectable moderate corporatist Hillary.

Then again the polls showed Trump getting washed by Hillary and we know how that turned out

Trump set to host controversial social media summit

https://thehill.com/policy/technology/452637-trump-set-to-host-conservative-online-allies-at-social-media-summit?rnd=1562866115

The guest list includes a number of controversial figures — some of whom have been banned from social media for violating their policies and allege unfair treatment by top companies like Google, Facebook and Twitter. And it will feature remarks from Trump, a prolific user of social media, who kicked off Thursday by warning he would not let companies “get away” with “tremendous dishonesty, bias, discrimination and suppression.”

Democrats are out of their minds. They've got to have a death wish.

Democrats warn push for border crossing decriminalization will prove costly in 2020
https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/452531-democrats-warn-push-for-border-crossing-decriminalization-will-prove-costly

Top former Obama administration officials are warning Democratic presidential candidates to back off from their proposals to decriminalize border crossings, saying that it’s bad policy and a surefire general election loser that gives President Trump an opening on immigration.

In an op-ed in The Washington Post this week, former Obama Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said that decriminalization would attract hundreds of thousands of new migrants to the southern border. He described the proposal as “tantamount to declaring publicly that we have open borders.”

AOC and co are leading the Democrats straight off of a cliff. Full out swan diving into mental retardation.
As Trump would say, they're not sending their best. AOC and the rest of the Justice Democrats are a bunch of fucking retards. Only one that is a solid politician is Ro Khanna (if that's how you spell it), but I always thought he wasn't full Justice Democrat since he joined as a standing congressman, IIRC. Brent Welder would've been great from what I saw of him, but he lost to some Native American chick that used to be an MMGay fighter, IIRC.

Lets not forget the 16 separate allegations of everything from sexual harassment to straight up rape our current president has been openly accused of... including the rape of a 13 year old girl at one of Jeffrey Epstein's parties.

https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/assault-allegations-donald-trump-recapped

"Sixteen women have come forward with allegations against President Donald Trump, each accusing him of inappropriate conduct. The most recent, from writer and columnist E. Jean Carroll, appeared in NY Magazine on Friday.

The women’s charges range from unwanted touches and aggressive, sudden kissing to the latest accusation against Trump — that he attacked a woman in a dressing room and forced his penis inside her. Donald Trump, his campaign and the Trump White House have insisted all of the stories are fabricated and politically motivated."
Sounds like a bunch of horseshit. A well know celebrity attacking and raping a woman in a dressing room.... come on.

Holy shit this right here.

If you're generally a well spoken, hard working and educated person in these countries you're not going anywhere. Unfortunately the rich don't get the shit end of the stick when it comes to immigration and that's why they love the idea of destroying the border.

Like all issues they are multi-faceted and the American media is great at ignoring most of those facets.

Is that a multigenerational and multinational judgement?

Meaning does it apply to all the waves of immigration?

Only illegal immigration?

If so why...seems like the motivating factors for illegal and legal immigrants is the same.

Were the German, Irish, Polish immigrants who came to America in previous generations the trash of their respective societies?
If so how has America been so geopolitically dominate?
Also...does it ever get exhausting being a misanthrope?
