WBO mandatory split is 75/25. Hearn said in a recent interview he doesn't think that helps the Fury Teams cause.
How do you see it going if he does gain the mandatory position?
I think they go for WBC early 2020, mate.

Then try to negotiate with Joshua.

Can't see that ever being done tbh. Not til one of them loses anyway. Too many self interested parties.

you know what i mean

at the time it wasn't considered a fight between 2 of the top 3 heavyweights. Everyone thought fury would get starched.

Now, we have three legitimate heavyweights clearly the best in the division. and barriers are going up left right centre for them to fight
People forget that the bookies had Wilder a slight favourite against Fury.

I’m so bored of reading about boxing politics, but it’s like that girl you used to shag who wasn’t all that, you took coke on a night out and always ended up back at her pad. Shite, but addictive.

I always considered Fury number 1 even after the long lay off, Wilder is not very good technically and the type of fighter Fury would make look terrible and besides the knock downs that’s pretty much what happened. I don’t think Wilder knew what he was going in against and that’s the only reason he took the Fury fight. The whole dynamic has changed now though, I can’t see any of those 3 fighting each other, not for a while anyway.

Mine was called Laura, although insert beer for coke.

Back to the fight - at least with Fury first taking the TV deal over the Wilder rematch, and now taking this sort of opponent, we might be rid of his whole 'I'm a fighting man who will fight anyone, and AJ fights stiffs while I take proper fights' routine. Also, given Fury thinks that the 'lineal champion' thing is actually a belt you can defend, surely he is making a mockery of it?

I won't watch this if it's PPV, will if it's free. At least all three fight in the same short period, so we can quickly get back to the usual debate around whose fault it is that they won't fight one another.

As quickly as heavyweight boxing caught our attention, it threw it all away again. Fury managed to serve up the worst of the three fights!!

Depressing, really.

Why should fury be the b side and get robbed again?

He’s already proven hes the best heavyweight in the planet, why shall he bow to wilder or ajs tune?

Fury is without doubt the B side. I'm afraid he's proven nothing.

He remains challenger to Wilder and he brings no biscuits and a blemished record to a fight with AJ.

He's A side with Schwartz though I'll grant you that.

Would anyone accept this a first title defence? I mean, we all know Fury beat Wilder and suspect he'd probably beat Joshua as well, so why accept the best heavyweight in the world partaking in a bum fight?

Fury's the last guy you want to watch in a showcase as well, because in all likelihood he's going to stink the joint out against a guy who offers zero threat and who he'll be happy to coast against.

If he'd got given the decision surely he'd be fighting Brezeale?

Is this not going to double up with Warrington-Galahad as a BT Sport PPV?

Frank did say that Warrington-Galahad would not be PPV unless it doubled up with something big.

If you have the likes of Conlan and BJS on the undercard in Vegas then it's a hell of a night of boxing. 8+ hours of worldclass boxing for £20.
Wheres the world class boxing? Fury , against a random guy that isnt top 10, BJS fighting a random guy that isnt top 10 either lol

Anybody else feel like news on Fury's training camp, and how hard he's working etc... has slowed down?

Probably nothing, just something that occurred to me today.

Why did boxrec drop Schwarz 20 odd places after the Fury fight was announced? I can get the rankings from oct 2018 on the wayback machine where he was 23rd. He'd had 2 wins since then and was even higher then magically dropped into the 40's when the fight was announced.

The only one of the so called big three who's upcoming fight I'm even remotely interested in is young Jonty Wilder's. And that's only because he and Brizwill have genuine beef.
