Who do you WANT to win? (Not who do you think WILL win)

  • I want the Fighting Irish to win

  • I want the 209 to represent again

  • I just want a good, action-packed fight like the last one

  • Test to see if I can change the poll?

  • Are these options 4 and 5?

Your uncle's trans?

No-one is forced to watch over-matched fights. If Canelo and Masvidal do end up fighting, just don't watch it. Simple.
Its an expression.

I know nobody is forcing anyone to watch mismatches but you can't say he deserves a fight with Canelo. You've pretty much admitted that it's a mismatch so the next time any top fighter takes on someone who has no business being in there with them you can't really complain can you.

Mate, when have I ever ended up insulting you? Never. I wasn't wound up, I was genuinely amused when I realised your "irrefutable fact" came from the same show that had ninjas proving their "crane wing" strikes were more powerful than Muay Thai kicks, and had Rijker hitting harder than Rutten (although not in the same episode).

You're the one who ended up calling me a dickhead and slipping in how you would knock me out in either type of glove. We were having a mild disagreement about a sport we're both interested in, and you started acting aggressive and condescending when in reality your evidence was a pop "science" show that is primarily light entertainment. I split the stuff into multiple posts, as I know about 90% of the board find posts (especially mine ) too long to read if they're more than 3 paragraphs.

Anyway, no hard feelings, but do you accept that you might have given the evidence from that show a little too much weight?
But can you bend metal, faggit?

Bloody Elbow taking the piss out of Rogan in a preview article about the main event tomorrow:

"Zabit has one key thing going for him, and that is that he is designed in a lab to give Joe Rogan paroxyms of joy when he fights. He throws wild spinning shit (so technical), he’s from Dagestan (their life is crazy man) and he doesn’t have the heavy muscles that cause people to instantly gas out (all those muscles need blood!). Makes it all the more of a shame that he’s not going to have him in the booth on Saturday."

Someone actually named their child "Stamp"?

Edit: Looked her up... she's Thai...of course she is.

For some bizarre reason, Thai women who choose a western nickname just pick random words, whereas the men pick an actual name.

So some guy will introduce himself as Peter, and his missus will be called Ice, Witch, or Apple.

Nick Diaz sounds fucking braindead. He's always been terrible at interviews, for many reasons. He suffers from massive anxiety and hates speaking in public, along with him being high...always. That said, he sounded completely fucked up in the Ariel interview. A shame. The UFC could use a little prime Nick Diaz about now. That man was fucking crazy and able to break down just about anybody that would swing with him.

I think Masvidal punches fuck out of any version of Nick tbh.

Maybe, not sure. Masvidal ain't packing anything like Paul Daley was and Nick was regularly able to just push people to their limit and drown them. Nick was better than Nate is, IMO. Doesn't matter now though. The Diaz brothers are done.

He's looking very puffy and way more out of it than he ever was. Pretty sure he's got some substance problems beyond his usual favourites.

Nah not a chance Strikeforce Nick Diaz was a different breed of tough

Masivdal has been fighting since 2003 mate and was stopped once in some dodgy promotion back in 2008, the Diaz brothers are legends but Masvidal is just as tough if not tougher.

His boxing, speed and power is just so much better than Nicks and he doesn't get tired.

Nick struggles with good boxers as his usual boxing style doesn't work, he batters wrestlers but Masvidal would be landing clean

Nick might be able to withstand it bit I doubt it, Masvidal is ruthlessly aggressive in the clinch as well.

Yep.

Masvidal is a guy who has been working hard his while life, he's learned from his mistakes, been honestly self-critical and improved. And now he's coming into his moment and he's completely prepared, dialed in, and ready to be the best version of himself.

Nick Diaz is basically the opposite of that. In 2019, Masvidal tears him apart.
