Who do you WANT to win? (Not who do you think WILL win)

  • I want the Fighting Irish to win

  • I want the 209 to represent again

  • I just want a good, action-packed fight like the last one

  • Test to see if I can change the poll?

  • Are these options 4 and 5?

Do you know what irritates the fuck outta me?

Why wasnt Chiesa calling out McGregor last night? Same weight category, he just won, they have the bus history. Take your opportunities for the money fight you fucking idiot.

He knows damn well that Conor wouldn't even acknowledge that challenge. His roads lead to Khabib, Tony, or Masvidal. Anything else isn't going to matter to him.

Yep.

Chiesa is 0.0% chance of landing that fight, and he knows it and calls for another big, interesting fight that is realistic instead. Smart.

How is it smart? Its smart getting a big payday. There are many angles to come at it with McGregor. He had an angle and fucked it.

McGregor is not going to take a Chiesa fight. No name value, little divisional significance and a horrible style matchup as well. Colby is a realistic fight and if he gets it and wins, it puts him in serious title consideration.

No name value cos he's quite a mouse.

He's now prob a top 6-7 WW( he just beat no. 5) who was injured by McGregor with the bus incident. Nobody knows him, and it's down to him.

Everyone in the top 10 should be challenging McGregor as a rule. If you dont, you're an idiot.

No fucking way  Didn't watch, but Sherdog says he lost UD.
Jones didnt do shit until round 4 and 5 I dont really know about how UFC scoring too much but rounds was 1-3 to Reyes 4 & 5 for Jones, the crowd was booing Jones and cheering Reyes, Reyes blew his load in 3 rounds but Jones' still didnt really try and do too much damage

Reyes won that fight by 3 rounds to 2 on my card, but Jones was stronger down the stretch and Reyes didn't win by enough that he can cry too hard about not getting the decision and winning the belt by the skin of his teeth. I still think you gotta take the belt away from the champion, and even if Reyes won two rounds clear, lost two rounds clear and just barely edged the third, he didn't do enough that he showed he's The Man now.

I also still feel that in a fight that is very close on the cards, the, quote unquote, "real" winner is the one who looks like if there was a sudden death overtime round, he would get the better of it. In this fight, Jones looked fresher and like he had the momentum down the stretch. The last two rounds, Reyes was clearly fading and Jones was taking over.

Lots of nonsense in this post.

Nobody, especially judges, should be scoring a fight as champion vs challenger, there's nothing in the rules which says to do this. If Reyes wins 3 close round, he should be the champion. You don't have to 'rip the belt off him', 'show you're the man' or any other cliche.

"the real winner is the one who looks like if there was a sudden death overtime round, he would get the better of it" is nonsense too and ignores any strategy in the fight. If your strategy is to win the first 3 rounds and then coast 2, you're not going to look like you'd win a 6th round. Winning the 5th round is no better than winning the 1st.
