Who do you WANT to win? (Not who do you think WILL win)

  • I want the Fighting Irish to win

  • I want the 209 to represent again

  • I just want a good, action-packed fight like the last one

  • Test to see if I can change the poll?

  • Are these options 4 and 5?

Yea that’s also smarter given what the odds will probably be
Although I looked at the odds for the national bookmaker here and wasn't impressed - right around $300 return for putting $100 on Gaethje by KO/TKO. Guess the NZ bookmakers watched the Ferguson fight and Luke Thomas' analysis of it as well.

When top fights happen, magic happens. You know what my last memory of being happy was before the pandemic? I was in a burger joint reading on my phone about Wilder being weighed down by his heavy, 50 lb. outfit :rofl.

I don't think any other sport gives me butterflies like boxing does when those big fights happen.
I 100% get what you mean. Boxing is my first combat sports love, the only sport I've ever really had a proper passion for.

But it's getting harder and harder not to fall for UFC.
There is just so much going on with consistant great match ups.

If Crawford and Spence ever do sign, best believe I will be following everything, watching their previous fights leading up, the weigh ins etc etc then down at the pub right from the first bell of the first undercard bout. Something I wouldn't do at all for the UFC. But how long are we going to have to wait for it? The way it's looking it's not going to be this year. Next year only a maybe. Winner of Wilder VS Fury 3 going against AJ. Late next year at best... it's just to much fucking around and waiting. Drives me bananas.

You simply don't get that with the UFC for the most part. Gilbert Burns had a good win a couple weeks ago. Immediately fans started discussing and getting hyped for a potential fight between Burns and the champ Usman. that fight was signed and given a date within a week or so of Burns winning and they will be fighting 12th June. What's not to love about that?

At the best in boxing we could expect probably 2 or 3 months of both sides negotiating then another 3 months waiting while their do their camps for a fight of similar status to happen.

Not to mention Burns and Usman until now have been team mates training out of the same gym. Seeing them fight if it was boxing would almost be a pipe dream.

I wasn't ever overly trying to get into the UFC. But the way things get done and the amount of consistent top level fights. It's really hard not to get into it mate. I dont think it's fair to just write it off as MMGay and be done with it

I hate to ruin a bet, but why the fuck wouldn’t you put that on at the bookies and get much better odds?
I always think this when people on here make bets, one of them is getting great odds and one is getting awful odds, then theres a high chance the loser won't pay out.

Whoever’s getting evens on Khabib’s onto a winner, I just dunno what’s motivating the other person.

Yea that’s what I mentioned to @Haggis as well. Mainly because I bet more for fun than for money.
Betting with the bookies is still a bet though, so the fun’s still there, just with more money.

Each to their own mate, I don’t mind what you do. Just seemed odd.

No but the fun of the bet for me is feeling like it’s against another individual person that I somewhat know. I know it’s odd but I’m an odd person.

I can't predict the upcoming fights. We have no idea what kind of Khabib we will get. Even if we did, we've never seen him against someone who knew how to use lateral movement the way Justin does now, in combination with his other skills/gifts.

Is DC the type of guy who's just not gonna be the same physically and even older, or is he the kind of guy who is going to put one more camp together that will allow him to go out on top?

Is Usman going to rape Burns, or will Burns have the ability to threaten on the ground to the point where Usman will prefer his chances there?

Khabib will take him down like he does everyone else and it'll be game over
Yeah. Pretty much where I’m at as well.

As always with any opponent, there’s a puncher’s chance he’ll catch Khabib, and Gaethje’s got the added skill of fucking vicious low kicks, but I’m fairly confident we’ll see the same thing we always see.

I really think Gaethje could be the guy. More than Ferguson or Conor, anyway.
