Javid's demeanour and platform is very similar to May's. I'm amazed that so many Tory MPs are backing him.
They are backing him because he is as much of a committed Leaver as May. With these cunts, it's mostly all about shades of Remain. Some are more overt, some are more subtle about their beliefs and intentions. If you want to know where they really stand listen not to what they say, look instead to who is supporting them.

For example, Stewart has that arch-EU federalist cunt Kenneth Clarke seconding him. That tells you all you need to know about what kind of "Brexit" he would deliver.

I think for me it’s more that his platform is quite similar to Hunt's, but Hunt is clearly the more competent of the two so I can't see why they would back Javid.

:rofl Dude, don't look for smarts. The last three years have shown how little judgement and intelligence wrapped in astonishing arrogance comprises the Parliamentary Party. Most of them are literally dumb enough to eat shit in a pitta bread if they're told it's seekh kebab.

Fuck me, in any other job, having Jeremy “NHS Killer” Hunt as clearly more competent than you would see you sacked, and probably having criminal negligence charges being brought against you.

If this open to general I think Stewart might of had a chance, as everyone loves the underdog.

But no doubt Johnson get the party members vote on top of MP vote.

A majority of Tories view all of the following as acceptable collateral damage in getting Brexit through:

  • secession of Scotland and NI
  • destruction of their own party
  • economic crash
The one thing they don't view as acceptable collateral for Brexit? Corbyn as PM.
