Probably Biden but it's not in the bag yet
He was the last holdout among major male candidates to commit to selecting a female as his running mate, then capitulated before the COVID situation caused Andrew Cuomo to surface with the highest profile and best communication skills (hardly surprising, as his father was also a master communicator) of any Democrat. Having been HUD Secretary for Bill Clinton, then stationed in Albany for a decade, he was probably the strongest VP prospect who could have been selected for Biden, but a SJW statement was made instead. (2008 was Hillary's year, but the DNC went with an inexperienced upstart kid instead.)

Nobody has ever disputed who won the 2016 GOP nomination in an organic contest among 17 major candidates. If the DNC wants to be serious about actually winning the Presidency, then they need to stop rigging their Machiavellian nomination process, not cater to political junkies who rave about neophytes like Gabbard only to be quickly disillusioned, but produce nominees who have proved they can actually generate wins in enough states to get to 270, and have some consistency in their history. (Trump hasn't changed. He remains what he's been known to be for decades.)

Run to win. A Biden-Harris ticket is akin to McCain-Palin. (I remain convinced that McCain might have had a real chance with Joe Lieberman on his ticket, and that was McCain's first choice, overruled by retarded GOP party "elders" who Trump later told off like McCain should have done in 2008. They never wanted McCain to win the nomination any more than they later wanted Trump. As far as I'm concerned, the establishment of both the GOP and DNC can go fuck themselves. I wish both Trump and Bernie had run as independents to completely trash the status quo in 2016. Harris provided a dismal showing in Iowa which shows exactly what voters thought of the DNC establishment.)

This isn't 2016 anymore

Trump is WORSE than the establishment of either party. This isn't 2016 where it was somewhat of a mystery of how he would actually govern.

What are the biggest complaints that people make about politicians and why people look more and more down on politicians, especially establishment ones?

They say they lie(or just say full of shit) and they are corrupt. Trump is more full of shit and more corrupt than your average establishment democratic or republican president.

When was the last time a reporter at a White House press conference has put this kind of question:

" Mr. President, after three and a half years, do you regret at all, all the lying you have done to the American people....all the fallacies that you have done, tens of thousands..."

Happened earlier today.

The wonder is, it took three and a half years for someone to ask it !
