What are your thoughts on Trump repeatedly stating that the only way he can lose the election is by fraud, and if that's the case, then he's not going to accept the result?

Is this acceptable to you?

:hat
Haggis, im not sure what exactly he said and whether it was just hot air or trash talk.

If he is decisively beaten but refuses to leave or accept it then no..it would not be okay with me or acceptable.

Nobody believes Trump is going to refuse to leave office in the event he loses the election. This is no different to the language being used 4 years ago. Remember how Conservatives were not going to accept a democratic decision? Well, we know how that turned out.

Thats what I mean though.. Im not going to overthink or play into something dumb that was said.. if the guy actually attempted it then thats one thing, but any talk is just talk and nothing more.

I just feel like it's pertinent. He lost in that clip and it wasn't even a debate.
We can save time and just wait 3 days for the debate and discuss it then. Then you can try to explain why Trump had a hard time debating a guy who supposedly has dementia.

The explanation would be that Trump is winging it too. :conf
I see you're already getting your excuses ready much like other righties on here, Trump's team, and Trump himself lately.

This is after months of shit talking that Biden was going to get absolutely destroyed Liston-Patterson style.

I'm looking forward to being amused I will likely be by your spinning later this week when commenting on the debate.

I don't care who wins the debates.

But it has to be said, Biden has been incoherent in many recent interviews. I know you don't want to admit or acknowledge that, because you are a partisan, but it's fact.

Biden has dementia and it’s just a matter of what stage he is in

It's not about who wins the debates, it's about how Trump was supposed to dominate because Biden is far gone mentally and there's no way he could compete because he's falling apart with dementia. That was all we've been hearing for the last few months.

So the question is this.....

If Trump is not able to dominate a guy with dementia, does that mean that Biden does not have dementia if he doesn't get dominated or does that mean that Trump is so much of a dumbass that he can't even dominate a guy with dementia? Which is it?

And I'm not a partisan, I'm in the middle just like @BigPete

Yank has such confidence in Biden that he considers not getting totally dominated a big win...

You proved once again that you don’t understand dementia.

No it's because Biden was well coached and Trump just went by the seat of his pants because he is too busy running the country.

(That will be the actual excuse).

Which is fucking hilarious because it's saying it's normal to be able to coach someone with fucking dementia enough that they can beat a sitting President in a debate. That shouldnt be possible even if the President did no special Prep.

You could go and get the best debating experts and give them a dementia patient for 3 months and they still wouldn't be able to make that person be functional for a 90 minute debate.

Republicans are really nervous right now. They've been talking so much shit about how Trump was going to absolutely destroy Joe Biden on the debate stage. Now that the debates are here, they either.....

A. Were full of shit the whole time and are now going to have to answer to what they said

B. Weren't full of shit but are now losing confidence in Trump's ability to dominate Biden so are not trying to go back on what they said because they realize they were lowering expectations

Also, I bet some of the republicans are realizing that Biden isn't anywhere near shot as they thought he was and are now having flashbacks and are starting to remember Biden dominating Sarah Palin and Paul Ryan. Keep in mind, it was Biden that helped turn the 2012 campaign around after Obama had that weak 1st debate performance by Biden destroying Ryan. Biden turned the momentum around and now they are worried about Biden increasing his momentum that he has over Trump now.

Johnston also doesn’t understand dementia.

we have already seem moments from Biden that show he is suffering from dementia. that does not mean he also doesn’t have good moments. Are you aware that when someone has dementia it often causes disagreements in families because they see different things? One family member may spend a day with family member suffering dementia and not notice anything. The next day a different family member may spend the next day with them and see some examples of slippage, this is usually the way it works until the stage changes.
My prediction is Biden will do okay but we will see some examples of slippage.
