Starting to wonder how many fighters are actually juicing?

Listening to Thomas Hauser, I suspect, as he does, that there has been suppression of positive test results going on for some time.

Most

It should be 1 year ban first offence
3 year ban second offence
5 year ban 3rd offence
Then permanent

People saying it should be permanent from the start but then every test will get covered up look at Canelo hes worth like $300million he got his punishment then carried on if they got permanently banned every positive result would get covered up for money fighters

I still don't agree that all top fighters are cheating. (or all top athletes in general).

There must be some who won't, whether from fear, morals, lack of opportunity or knowledge, wrong risk/reward, or a decent level of testing in their jurisdiction. (I do think it is harder to get away with in the UK, rather than the US for example).

However, I think it is a high percentage at the top level of the sport, and that percentage will be rising.

We are maybe starting to find ourselves in a cycling like position, where clean athletes know their rivals are cheating with impunity, and that if they want to reach that level then they will need to join in.

If you know all the top fighters in your division are cheats, that the testing supposed to catch them is inadequate, and that they will only get a slap on the wrist if caught, then it must be really tempting to join them. Even if you started your career with the best of intentions.

Regarding ethics boxing is a considerably dirtier business than cycling. And cycling's filthy...

It's time fans realised pro 'sport' isn't sport at all. It's business. And business is dirty just like life.

We want to see 'superhuman' performances but in reality superhumans don't exist. Once you accept they're all at it enjoying the spectacle is easier. The whodunnit drug intrigue adds fun for me even though they're all guilty. :yep

This is all part of the plan for Usyk.
Waste his time with pointless ‘warm up fights’ which can only ever result in net negatives through pullouts, injuries, cuts, lucky punches, etc. After which he might get a big fight 3 years too late.
