Thanks to every single person involved, from staff, former staff, posters old and current. All support means more than anyone knows. Thanks for your understanding.

What you (conveniently to strengthen your case?) leave out is that many of the same people you mention above also had the opinion that the scores were too wide and unfair.
Some did claim the scores were wider than they should have been but how many claimed the judges got the winner wrong?

Another scoring criterion that could be in Lopez's favor is effective aggressiveness: with all the punches he was throwing he was effectively keeping Loma off of him.
The counter-argument could be that he missed 95%, and of the 5% he did land, only about 1% landed clean (as most hit a forearm or glove first).

Yeah, the ibf are talking of stripping him. Only way round it I think is if they could somehow blame the pandemic, and the ibf granted an extension.

I like the ibf though. Their mandatory rules are clear and always enforced consistently.

I would obviously prefer Lopez to face one of the bigger names, but kambosis is a good fighter, and he's earned his shot.

I can't see him getting a belt though unless some fighters move up.
Lopez is keen to hang onto all his belts and for that reason Lopez-Kamobosis is firming. Early talk is April/May in New York.

I was about to laugh, and make some joke about the WBA, or whatever, since I never heard of this guy.

- But DAYUM - recent, convincing wins over Selby and Bey. That's impressive. I have to check this guy out.

Only he doesn't seem to hold any serious title right now, so what's the deal? Is Kambosis the mandatory challenger? Even if he is, doesn't the champ have the right to fight at least one other optional fight first?
If Lopez wants all the belts, shouldn't he be fighting Haney?

I'm really confused here. (Well, that's pro boxing for you.....)

Kambosos is Lopez' IBF mandatory.
