WBA giving Canelo the Floyd treatment. Just hope he doesn't horde without defending like Floyd did.

I don't think it's that bad yet. Didn't they give Mayweather some kind of pass that he could defend his 154 lb. belt at 147 against Maidana… or was it another fighter? Anyways, I remember that controversy.

I think they should definitely strip him from one weight class if he chooses to defend at either 160 or 168. I have to wonder if this will open up a new Caneloweight at 162-166 or some shit.

I have no problem with this at all, as long as he defends against the top guys, regularly, and makes weight.

The likely-hood he is going to defend both belts against the top guys on anything like a regular basis when he only fights twice a year?

Canelo-weight is 155. He's still the champ at that weightclass as far as I know.
