The WBC Board of Governors has voted 36-1 in favour of ordering Canelo Alvarez vs Avni Yildirim for the 168 pound title made available because Benavidez failed to make weight.

Apparently Canelo requested Yildirim.

Of course, easy payday against someone that is horrifically overchallenged in terms of everything. Not a single thing Yilidirim does would trouble Canelo. It'd be a massacre like Canelo/Angulo.

Dirrell/Yildirim was more styles than Yildirim being great. I remember Dirrell didn't look great against caveman Bika either. Been so long, but I'm pretty sure I'm remembering it right.
