History of Rome - guy tells the story of Rome, from Romulus and Remus to the death of the last Western Emperor, in a couple of hundred 20-30 minute episodes. (The best podcast)

Thinking Sideways - a podcast about unsolved mysteries, usually true crime.

Generation Why - True crime

Been listening to some of the Washington Post's series on American Presidents.

Cover-Up - a six part series about Ted Kennedy and the Chappaquiddick incident.

Gladiator - the Boston Globe's 10-part series on Aaron Hernandez' life and crimes.

:hat
I have listened to the entire History of Rome. Amazing podcast.

How is Jocko's podcast?
Are you familiar with him? Who he is?

He has some great book reviews (mainly books on strategy, war), he talks a lot about BJJ (and a little about MMA).

Outside of that he gives advices on leadership, how to manage things (business or whatever, things in life in general), even guns, and has guests like war vets, former Navy Seals, people in the Military in general, fitness people, he had Jordan Peterson there two times or three...

I know of him; have listended to him with Tim Ferris.
I wonder if the podcast would be repetitive.

It depends, it can be. It is not for me. But I admit that it can be depending of the person beliefs and preferences.

If you don´t like the military or even if you are against US foreign politics, you won´t like it.

If you don´t like BJJ, you won´t like it either, because he is very vocal about being superior to other fighting arts.

If you find the discipline talk kinda boring or tiresome..or silly... you will hate it lol

I don´t watch it all the time, I simply have no time for, but as much as I like the guy and admire him really.. I can admit that is not like the Joe Rogan podcast that is for everyone, no...

It's still funny as fuck for most part, but the overnight shows had genuine edge. At times the two fucking hated each other (fleetingly), and went in brutally studs up one one another. Now they only do a friday evening show, and are a bit too pally in comparison to how they were. They have their On The Record podcast, which is far less antagonistic, and not so much fun frankly. Listen back to their shows from 3 or 4 years ago, straight up GOAT uk radio for me...

Out West
Code Switch - about race and culture. A lot of honesty and interesting questions.
RadioLab - about science and philosophy. Engaging.

In the past listened to Freakonomics Radio. About finance and economics, in an interesting way.
