Today had some type of friend rice mixed with some roast chicken.
Wasn't to bad.

I've never been a big gourmet cook for myself but these days can be a bit frustrating. I don't get much choice over the meals I have now as living with the missus' family, her mum does all the cooking. Don't really get a chance to get in and cook for myself.

Good and a bad thing. She cooks some delicious food at times, others not so much. Gets me fustrated though as I don't have much control over how healthy it is. These South Americans sure love fucking salt!

Just made a fish stew. The base was made with onions, garlic, parsley and tomatoes. The liquid was clam juice, fish stock and white wine. The fish was cod, haddock, prawns, clams and octopus. Seasoned with oregano, thyme, salt and pepper, with a dash of Tabasco. Fantastic!

Us too, once a week I make a big pot of chili, I use black (turtle) beans and hide a large egg plant and about two thirds of a kilo of mushrooms with a kilo of mince, the kids love it and, as I make it quite spicy, they end up eating plenty of brown rice and natural yoghurt with it. Makes for a great leftover.
