Just the usual "I am coming back"...quote by Benn that happens every few years. Without any fight actually taking place.

Just another old fighter craving a few headlines.

Or maybe is just coming back to the U.K. after living in Spain and Australia for the past 20 years.

I doubt it happens, and if it does there is no way it's Froch. That would be madness.

Froch would be all wrong for him, even if he wasn't so much younger and fresher, and more recently retired.

I loved Nigel when I was a kid. Has no business in the ring now. All the boxers mentioned would start favourite against him.

Only positive is he likely still has his power, and they will all he more easy to hit now.

These old retired fighters need to take up other sports...to get the buzz of competition.

Something thats not gonna rattle the brain... Archery, Fencing, Table Tennis, Bowling.

Messing around with Boxing in your old age is just plain foolishness.

I'd like to think that the young boxers wouldn't take this fight. When I say younger, froch, groves, degale etc, they'd get some right stick for coming out of retirement to beat Benn who is long retired. If he wants to come back for a one off it has to be eubank snr or Collins surely.

“It’s guaranteed he’s definitely fighting again,” Conor exclusively told World Boxing News. “One hundred million percent. Contracts have been signed.

“He’s been training since he retired but for the past two years training like an absolute nutter.

“Since I made my debut at the O2 four years ago, I think that’s when the feelings, the emotions come back as he was in the ring with me.

“There’s an opponent who has signed a contract. It’s a former WBC world champion and who fought only two years ago.

“The ins and outs I’m not too sure of, or what’s in the contract word for word. But it won’t be with Eddie Hearn, Frank Warren, Top Rank and ESPN or anything like that. It will be a Benn Promotions show.

“What I know is it’s guaranteed. I have the date, the fight will be later in the year. It will be in the UK. That’s what I can tell you right now.”

Have read some rumours he's fighting Bika. They are both based in Oz and have done some stuff in the past before. Charity appearances etc.

Could be the usual online garbage. I hope so to be honest.
Yeah defo him.

WBC Champ and fought two years ago.

Assuming it's not something like a friendly three-round exhibition, Bika would hammer him :sad

Bika would be a nightmare for Benn prime for prime too.
I don't know why anyone would volunteer to fight Bika, let alone a guy in his 50's who looked completely done 25 years ago?

Bika is 40, but he is rough, tough, fit and seems about 3 fighting generations removed from Benn.

If he has to fight, it should be someone from the same era, and not a guy known for his chin and fitness.

The Sun is reporting it'll be against Sakio Bika on November 23 at the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham. The British and Irish Boxing Authority will apparently sanction the bout.
