Which television series do you believe to be underrated?

Boardwalk Empire. I consider it up there with the very greatest HBO shows, but most seem to think it falls down the line somewhere lower. I understand it fell off in its 5th and final season, but most shows do. Doesn't take away from the first 3-4 seasons.
Yeah fucking brilliant show in those early seasons, remember watching it at the same time as Game of Thrones and thinking Boardwalk Empire was better.

I don't even know how Boardwalk Empire ended. I got about half/two thirds way through the last series and could feel disappointment stirring within the serious boredom that had set in. I just remember there seemed to be no pace and fuck all actually happened so I just didn't bother as it was damp squibbing.
I never even bothered watching the last season to be honest, wasn't the same after Jimmy was killed off, third season was solid, 4th is where my interest waned and so never got round to watching the 5th.

Interesting point is they apparently killed of Jimmy played my Michael Pitt because he was such an ass hole to work with that nobody on the cast would work with him. He's a brilliant actor but in this business you can't alienate everyone you work with.

Honestly, it was the same way for me. I found out through the grapevine what ended up happening, but my conclusion to the series was pretty much the exact same. Hasn't stopped me from re-watching at least the first 3 seasons a few times since, though.

In a deplorable basket

 I've read that was the case. You have to be a pretty monumental cunt to get up that many peoples noses in a business full of egos who, despite it all, mainly are professional enough to rub along. That was a show full of pros, people who've been around the block and worked with a lot of twats. Last I saw him was in the Mads Mikkelson Hannibal in which he was doing a decent turn as Gary Oldman doing a pre-self-butchered Mason Verger.

Real shame because when it was good it was fucking outstanding.

I really liked Terminator the Sarah Connor Chronicles but evidently a lot of people didn't.

I loved that show was gutted they cancelled it.

The first season was OK, I think it suffered from having a poorly cast villain as the terminator, he just lacked the menace required to be a terminator and the plot was kind of basic.

The 2nd season was awesome and they left it on a cliff hanger which made it getting cancelled all the more annoying as it seems the show had found it's feet.

Lena Hedley was brilliant as Sarah Conor, Summer Glau for me is the best terminator we've seen apart from Arnie himself and loved Shirley Mansun's inclusion as a T-1000.

Londo and G'kar are the greatest characters ever
Yeah I loved the story arc of those 2 characters, you'd never have expected them to end up where they did, when you consider where they started from.

I loved the ambition of that show's creator Straczynski, such a long story arc for those 5 seasons, am so glad it didn't get cancelled and we got to see if all play out. Don't think it could happen now unless the show was stupidly popular.
