He lowe
Kennedy's Tax plan looks familiar.

Summary of provisions.
The Office of Tax Analysis of the United States Department of the Treasury summarized the tax changes as follows:

Impact.
The stated goals of the tax cuts were to raise personal incomes, increase consumption, and increase capital investments. Evidence shows that these goals were exceeded by large degree with the combination of tax cuts and domestic spending programs President Johnson advocated, such as Medicare. Unemployment fell from 5.2% in 1964 to 4.5% in 1965, and fell to 3.8% in 1966. Initial estimates predicted a loss of revenue as a result of the tax cuts, however, tax revenue increased in 1964 and 1965....https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Revenue_Act_of_1964

So the moral of the story is lowering taxes provides for more revenue for businesses to create jobs. Kennedy's plan looks a lot like trickle down.
Yes, Kennedy the good and smart liberal that he was realized in a reasonable way that 91 percent was too high of a tax rate for the wealthy to pay. Bernie, aoc, and any democrat to the right of them agree which is the vast majority of the party. Kennedy would fit right in.

I was looking at the polls yesterday and Biden is way ahead. Too far ahead for Bernie and everyone else right? Unless something crazy comes to light, he'll be our next candidate. Anyone disagree?

Politics I know little about.

Bernie is losing steam. He's not going to be the nominee.

Biden might well be, but it's WAY too early in the process. The people who will decide the nomination aren't even paying attention yet. We haven't even seen the candidates on stage together yet. I mean, at this point in the last election Jed was leading the polls for the GOP, and in 2008 it was Guiliani who was the frontrunner on May 22. Neither of them ended up winning a single state, and Rudy folded his campaign before Super Tuesday.

You guys notice how the instant that Goat leaves and I stop engaging, all of a sudden these idiots Joe and Vino completely disappear from the political threads? Only to reappear and start posting mindless spam as soon as I show up to talk about the campaign with someone else? Absolute fucking morons they are.

Yeah. We've noticed that without Ol' Slappy around your 'me tooing' has fallen off precipitously, too.

Wait, what? So you should just discount Bernie but wait for Buttplug and Harris to start gaining ground because...? It's not like Bernie doesn't have huge support right now, out-fundraised them, and is leading both of them in the polls. Fuck off, Haggis, just fuck off.

Biden ran previously. He lost twice, IIRC. He's not a brilliant campaigner considering this, and Bernie shines once he gets on the debate stage. Plus, this time you'll have some equally progressive candidates on the stage in Tulsi and Yang. You won't get away with being a mealy-mouthed (however you spell that word) centrist when the debates start.

Johnstown's cousin, your boy, Pete Buttplug is really smart, though. I can see him being a bit of a force on the debates. Luckily, on Realclearpolitics, there is a poll out of SC that has him trailing. This is one where we can say he won't be the nominee. Ultimately, I think he's looking to get that buyout from the winner for a significant cabinet position.

Is The Rudder pontificating about things he hasn't a clue about, again, Mex? Writing Sanders off 6 months before the campaigning even begins? :rofl @Haggis

So Warren is nearly tied with Bernie in Iowa, the thing is why would anybody support Pocahontas over Bernie when she is basically just Bernie-lite?

It's going to be interesting to see the candidates square off during the first debate later this month, it hasn't really become nasty yet but with that many candidates I think it definitely will. We might see a mirror image of the 2016 Republican primary debates, of course minus Trump.

 that was awesome. Tulsi is the only democrat it seems who is voicing opposition to this Russia nonsense.
I don't trust Tulsi. Word is that she's holding a fundraiser at a former bank executive's house. Then that other article that came out about her getting money from the Koch brothers.

I like what she says, but I'm waiting for the Howard Dean heel turn.

Yeah, I hate that Pocahontas is surging. She is a godawful candidate. Zero charisma and has become another politician since she put her eggs into the Hillary basket. She's a softer Bernie Sanders.

Plus, this is really bad since there was an article that she hired a bunch of Hillary staffers to run her campaign. Not sure if this is still true, but fuck, I think anyone with ties to Hillary's campaign is an automatic no from me.

Whats the story with Tulsi being connected to the fag conversion centres?
Her father ran one, I think. I really don't give a shit about that, though, so I never bothered to worry about it. Her shady ties are what's more worrying to me.

We've been posting consistently in political threads, sometimes this one, sometimes Joe's official 2020 Trump thread.

What did completely disappear is your safe space thread once the Mueller report came out. You and the likes of #dildoboy were quite active in it before the report. Surprised Slappy didn't spam it into oblivion like he did with your original Trump thread.

If true that is pretty disappointing, i don't know too much about either of those situations but I'll look into it.

It's cute how you try to talk like her being a female candidate for POTUS isn't enough by itself to get an automatic no from you regardless of any policies she has, or anything she says or does.
