Because Tulsi represents the traditional, old left in many ways. The old coalitions of labor and business. National security hawks and anti war doves. The working and middle classes. She's a dinosaur in many ways. Those coalitions don't exist anymore for the Democrats. They were put out of business with the ascension of the McGovernites in '72 and were lost to the Democrats in the 80's to the Republicans.

Well of what little I have seen Trump will beat Biden, Harris, Sanders and Warren.
No doubt they will choose AOC next time (will she be eligible?) and then they will lose again.

At no point have I said that Mayor Pete will win the nomination.
Many times, I have said that he will not. For exactly the reason that you say. Because he is gay, which means that millions and millions of backwards religious types will never ever consider voting for him.
I personally like him, and consider him to be just the type of serious, impressive person you guys want to see running. Instead of a bunch of 70-something orange retards/corporate whores/ideological fanatics.
Do not confuse my personal support for Mayor Pete, to support for the idea that he is the next President.
Others here are big Tulsi and Yang fans, and acknowledge that they have no real path to the nomination/Oval Office. You don't give them condescending lectures about how Tulsi and Yang are not going to win.
So it is with my stance on Mayor Pete.
I feel I have been quite clear on this, for a while now.
Pete wants free health care for everyone including illegals, free college for everyone who is not rich, and spends his days telling blacks they are victims so he can get their vote. Is fine with reparations.. Hell no.

"On Thursday, Biden, 76, told a group of Asian and Hispanic voters that “poor kids are just as bright” as white children."
And yesterday, he claimed that Parkland massacre survivors came to the White House to see him when he was Vice President. Too bad he'd been out of office for more than a year when Parkland happened. His campaign team were quick to clarify that he'd meant Sandy Hook survivors...... who were six year olds, not high schoolers, and whose school was shot up six years before Parkland.
