Who would you like to see Kell Brook face in September?

There's the whole "he retired Ricky Hatton and Kell will get revenge" angle that they'll push to the moon. Smart business but Senchenko isn't a true world class welterweight to be honest. He's a respectable name of course and better than the likes of Saldivia and Jones but beating him will hardly make the big names in the division sit up and take notice of Brook.
Considering Ricky doesn't really like Hearn or Brook that could be tough!

Whoever it is, if it is a big fight like E-Hearn is making out, it will be a huge step up for domesticated Kell.

I actually think he loses and I actually think he struggles again against Jones. At least I dont think it will be as easy as people expect again. Carson Jones has mentally scarred Kell Brook and Kell Brook lives an unprofessional lifestyle as do 90% of boxers today. Kell Brook will never amount to anything at world level unless he gets his act together.

I don't see how Malignaggi can stylistically test Brook, Paulies style is perfect for Kell.

Zavek? Berto?
Zaveck is done. Isnt the fighter he was once.
I willing to bet that it will be another medicore opponent. Certainly not one of those guys who are named here.

Bundu, Abregu, Diaz, Senchenko, Provodnkikov, Mosley. I think I stated it in another thread but I regard these types of fight as the middle ground between the standard of opposition Brook's faced and the 147 elite.
None of these fights will happen. Bank on it. Big fight in Hearn terms usually means something like Zaveck,Omotoso,Hatton ect.

His big fight might not be our big fight. Big fight is subjective. This is Eddie Hearn we are dealing with. Master salesman, cowboy builder.

I know he won't be fond of Hearn for obvious reason but does he not like Kell no? I know Brook fought and comprehensively beat his brother but I didn't think he'd hold any grudges over that because Ricky pretty much gets on with everyone (at least on the surface).

Brook winked at him in the final round and then landed a combo on Matthew. Ricky wasn't happy about it.

I bet you Kell deals with Carson with ease in Hull. He wants payback for the whole Devon debacle and Jones will be the poor victim.

I highly doubt it would be Senchenko. He demanded serious money against Khan and wouldn't go in to face Kell for considerably less.

Marcos Maidana
Ruslan Provodnikov
Victor Ortiz
Andre Berto
Paulie Mallignaggi

are all good shouts, all tests bar Malignaggi who I would just love to see have another big fight over here. I think some shouts such as Diaz, Lopez, Senchenko and especially Bailey are terrible, although good from Hearns standpoint, so I expect it to be one of them

Robert Guerrero - Good fight but won't come for a Matchroom purse after a Floyd fight, chasing Ortiz
Marcos Maidana - Is due a shot at Broner or Chaves/Thurman winner
Ruslan Provodnikov - Likely set to fight Alvarado
Victor Ortiz - Won't come to UK in a million years, not with his glass mind. Probs gets Guerrero
Andre Berto - Fights late July. Doubt he'd take a tough, away fight with max 8 weeks between fights.
Paulie Mallignaggi - Possibly but will likely price himself out
Jesse Vargas - Lined up on JMM-Bradley card with a view to being a future opponent.
Josesito Lopez - Lost 3 of 4. Might take it, little value in him for GBP. Could be available.
Shane Mosley - Wants too much money.
Kieth Thurman - Likely fighting Maidana/Broner if he gets past Chaves. Another unrealistic turnabound.
Luis Carlos Abregu - Possible. No fight, wouldn't be expensive. Good fight.
Leonard Bundu - Possible. Doesn't do much on world stage but isn't bad.
Diego Gabriel Chaves - See Thurman/Berto
Julio Diaz - Asking for too much apparently but is unlikely to get more elsewhere realistically. OK fight.
Vyachaslev Senchenko - See Diaz
Randall Bailley - Awful fight. Bailey can't pull the trigger. He's done.
Lopez, Bundu, Abregu, Senchenko or Diaz.

Probably be Bundu - cheap and light hitting.

Can see it being Lopez, Heerden or Holt. Still not convinced that Hearn will put the money up for a big name.
