BoxNation is the best thing to happen in British boxing since...? i don't know.

Why do some idiots want this business adventure to fail..?

Some people just don't like Frank Warren. Some of the reasons are also personal. So they don't support any business he is involved in. For a long time I felt that despite all the great BoxNation does the boxing game would be better of without Frank Warren. I don't personally feel that way anymore but I can understand why people do.

Nike make really great trainers but allot of people object to the people behind making them and the way they are made. Its the same deal.

I hate Frank with a passion, but I think Boxnation is top draw.
:deal:deal:deal

This is the guy who still owes Joe Calzaghe £1.5 mil and changed the name of his company to avoid paying it. Many reports of fighters not being payed etc etc. Screwing guys over who get punched in the cranium for a living hits a nerve with me.
Doubt he is as crooked or unlawful as some would have you believe but, he is the general public's image of a dodgy boxing promoter personified.

However, Boxnation is superb and I for one would love it to go from strength to strength. Big fan of Bunce always have been (people who cant see he know has a different job entirely and, has to tow the line are just plain silly) plus the influx of all the other domestic promoters is great news.
Boxnations coverage of the foreign bills is the perfect antidote to Skys short sightedness. HD would be nice plus although understandable they're production values are shocking. Alas between Sky/Hearn and Boxnation us fans are getting proper access to pretty much any significant fight nowadays. Hope Boxnation proves a success and I will continue to support it.

Boxnation is fantastic. Hopefully it continues to go from strength to strength.

If it can guarantee friday & saturdays (either domestic or international) week after week then even the most vehement Wavven hater can't find room to grumble. If it get's a slot of BT Vision then Sky is in trouble (in a boxing regard)

You've gotta hand it to Frank, love him or hate him the guy is an exceptional businessman.

I don't want BoxNation to fail at all, I think it's brilliant and would love it if it succeeded and became a mainstream sports channel.

Just almost everyone fucking despises Allegedly and wishes he had fuck all to do with it. If he retired and handed over control to his sons or a another promoter then it would be great and everyone would rally around.

Is he really an exceptional businessman though? All his companies seem to go bust after hemorrhaging millions of pounds.

To use a Frankie Boyle quote. 'Astronauts say they had a probe successfully crash land on the moon, well to me that doesn't sound like its successful if it crashed onto the moon, that's like saying you swam the channel because your corpse gets washed up on a beach'

What are you in business for? To stack up the cheddar. Business geezers fold their companies all the time, it's an important tactic to getting that RICH.

Frank is OD'in on Cheese and he isn't getting stoned...

He's struggling big time, he's openly admitted struggling of late.

i agree with this 1000x over.
He just seems much smoother, and nowhere near as bitter. He does great work getting the internstional fights for boxnation, and apparently at a good price so he's obviousky good at negotiating. Also, francis is just a mini me of his father

I didn't know he negotiates the international fights, thought Frank would be doing that. Good stuff.

Have you seen his crib?

Frank is as safe as his massive house. If it all went tits-up his standard of living would not suffer one iota. As you should well know by now, what Frank says and what's reality are two totally different things.

I hope its a success and then Warren sells it and fucks off so I don't have to see a multitude of shit fights in his stable. Also threatening to sue everyone was quite laughable. The channel is good stuff though.

Oh he's personally got a lot of money, nowhere near as much as he used to though, he's made a huge investment in Boxnation.

Brilliant for the big overseas fights, and I'd imagine its domestic output will improve a bit after taking Hatton on board. A must for any big boxing fan, I most certainly don't want it to fail, cos Sky ain't gonna pick up the kind of fights that BoxNation has
