Also, Wilder, his coach, and his team have all confirmed he didn't burst his ear drum, and as he's shown, he will clearly give any excuse for losing. No matter how crazy or embarrassing.
2. I have.
Fury hurts him at 1:30 of the first round and his legs go. He's always had weak legs and poor balance, but there is a noticeable difference.
Also, if you rewatch, you will see how ragged Wilder is at the end of the second. He has no balance.
He is also forced to hold on at the end of the 2nd and start of the third. Both before the knockdown.

Why the desperate clamour for excuses for Wilder's loss?
The same thing happened when AJ lost.
Both lost because their opponents damaged them by punching them to the head. The primary aim in boxing is to render your opponent unable to continue and that is exactly what Ruiz and Fury did.

I can't explain why they aren't claiming it happened, but - Cuts INSIDE the ear? When has that ever happened?
Of course, if it really was a bizarre cut, then Wilder pathetic lack of accuracy for the rest of the fight is, well, pathetic. Shockingly so.

Regardless if he thought the towel should have been thrown or not he should understand Breland was doing it from the right place and just trying to look out for Wilder.
If the towel didn't come in, the ref or more likely Fury would have ended it soon after anyway and the results of that could have been much more severe. Best stop it a few to early than 1 to late.

I don't really care about the stupid excuses, part of me thinks it's probably a good thing since a guy like Wilder absolutely needs that sort of delusion to be able to perform at the top.
But this is garbage, Breland potentially saved Wilder's life and in return he's punished for it.

My Mrs got a cut inside the ear and didn't even know how she did it. Getting whacked in the head by an 19 stone dude would certainly be one way it could happen though. (To Wilder, not my Mrs. I hope).
Ears tear fairly easily. You see it in wrestling, rugby, etc. Maybe not as much in boxing because they don't get as much contact.
Wilder has had excuses in every fight he has looked bad in, and has given a stupid excuse for this one. If he had a real reason why he looked so poor he'd be on Instagram right now with a doctors note.
Finally, as Royal Watcher pointed out. If his ear drum is burst, then it happened because Fury punched him. The objective of boxing is to punch your opponent until they can't continue. So, job done.

When I heard that at first, I laughed it off.. I thought “He didn’t say that”. I actually thought it was from a satirical article.
To me that excuse is worse than what happened in the ring. If Wilder kept quiet and just went about his business he still could have kept his ‘bad man’ presence. This twinky had tired legs from wearing his costume to the ring? The costume he wears to be a scary man? He has completely killed that with this nonsense. Bambi isn’t coming back.
Anthony Joshua made no excuses, went about his business. Wilder needed to do the same, that shows their difference in character.

What exactly are you disputing? There are excuses then there are observations. The first two are mindset prerequisites for the next fight, they weren’t made immediately after the fight. The last two are self evident, how on earth can you call those excuses?
