It has been reported John Skipper has offered Deontay Wilder a 3 fight deal worth roughly $100mil to fight on DAZN.

Wilder co-manager Shelly Finkel confirmed the money was “in that ballpark.”

It is believed the offer is $20mil for fighting Dominic Breazeale, followed by two fights with Anthony Joshua at around $40mil per fight.

Wilder's patience looks to have paid off. He would have been a fool to have accepted the spare change Hearn was throwing at him.

Wow, serious money for the heavies now. Another question is now was does Whyte do? Being patience seems to pay off, being the best possible other for AJ, Wilder or Fury he’s in a good position. He’ll come out with a better deal than the 4 mill Hearn offered.

Great signs for AJ-Wilder this year. Also the Fury fight for lineal or actual undisputed is still there after.

Also is it possible that the UK could have five top ten heavies soon? Wonder if any historian can tell us if we’ve had a stronger bunch at heavy...?

AJ/Fury
Whyte
Joyce
Dubois/Gorman
Chisora/Hughie Fury

Very serious money for the heavies. There is either going to be a logarithmic boom in the heavyweight division or someone is going to lose an obscene amount of money.

Fury vs Whyte happens this year imo. Sells very well and makes a lot of sense for both guys. Hopefully the winner of Wilder and AJ will fight Fury then we can finally know who the best HW in the world is without debate.

What has that to do with the offer Fury accepted from ESPN?

With Wilder/Joshua on DAZN that leaves Fury out in the cold.

This isn't hard... :patsch
It has nothing to do with it.

I think you're quite aware what I was alluding to, it's not hard!

So, do you think that Sky Box Office are going to give all their money to DAZN to reimburse them for Deontay's $40 mill?

Has Haymon sent Wilder to talk with DAZN just as a tactic to see how the enemy operates and their future plans? Wilder probably had zero intention of ever signing with DAZN

“So many people try to dictate my career and tell me, ‘I should do this, I should do that, I shouldn’t do this, I shouldn’t do that’,” Wilder was quoted by the Telegraph.

“$12.5 million is laughable now, $15 million is laughable. All this stuff I was supposed to have done, I didn’t do none of that and now look at my career. I’m betting on myself and you can’t go wrong with yourself. I love being a free agent, I love being able to move about doing what I do and we’ll see what the future holds.”

Look he’ll beat Breazeale then renegotiate. There’s more to get from Dazn, I reckon.
