Frank Warren said: “I’m delighted to have done a deal to add Willy Hutchinson to our ranks. Managed by Shelly Finkel and co-promoted by Richard Schaefer, Willy has an outstanding amateur pedigree and I’m confident that he will be a huge success in the paid ranks. He has an exciting future ahead of him and I look forward to seeing his career develop on our forthcoming shows.”

Would've liked to see him go with Cyclone and eventually be pushed as chief support for Taylor in the next 18 months or so. I think Shane would be a good fit for him as a trainer as well.

Good decision by the lad. Training under Dominic Ingle can only be good for his development going forward. He maybe does lack elite power but can't knock the Ingle gym for developing fighters footwork/movement.

Plus he might get to feel up MJP when she next goes round there to do some "sparring"

Shane McGuigan would've been better for developing Hutchison's power. Shane would have Hutchison sitting down on his punches more and help developed him a style more suited to the pros. He'd have him breaking ribs in no time.

I think the comments about his lack of power are unfair, he is only 19 and as some posters have said above he isn't sitting down on his shots.

In his last fight he appeared to be smothering alot of his own work and the guy looked like a solid Cruiserweight anyway.
