Classy and at some times too patient (aka boring) dismantling of the opponent. KO power and good jab.

Not really.

Arguello was very fluid unlike the stiff and robotic Wlad. He also had an iron chin and killer instinct.

There's similarities between them, poise, intelligence, graciousness and gentle manliness but they weren't much alike in the ring.

This/\. No comparison of them in the ring. I loved to watch Alexis fight with his great boxing ability and killer instinct once he had an opponent hurt.

Wlad was a plodder and pretty basic for most of his fights. Jab, jab, hold, get broke apart by the ref, rinse and repeat. Then the occasional hard punch that connected and MAYBE pursue it to stop his opponent with Manny Stewart yelling at him in the corner to go for it and quit playing it safe so much.

I heard Manny practically begging the guy to step it up with aggressive pursuit of an opponent and it seemingly falling on deaf ears with Wlad.
