World Deadlift Record Broken.....

  • CHB will be closing down as of 31st July 2021. It's been a brilliant experience to run the website for the past 9 years, however it's time for me to move onto different projects. Thanks to every single person involved, from staff, former staff, posters old and current. All support means more than anyone knows. Thanks for your understanding.

Wow, I feel like total shit, I literally put some 5 pound weights on a bar today because I broke my rib and went light in class and dead lifted 10 pounds.

I had to back off because I could still feel pain in my rib area because of it.

Serious question, why is the bar so high off the ground compared to a regular bar bell.

I would think having the bar higher off the ground compared to a regular bar bell height would make lifting the weight easier.

sorry but how is that a dead lift??? the bars up to his knees ffs. hes basically shrugging the thing

Yeah, put that bar about 1 ft. closer to the ground like it would be with Olympic weights and he doesn't get that lift. Still pretty impressive given the guys age.

That is a niche strong man event. Many strong Men could break many records in different events. If they wanted to specialize in just one for a few months.

Last time I saw the silver dollar dead lift was back when Bill Kazmire was competing.

That's gotta fuck your body up. I don't know how these strong men do it honestly. Not to mention all the crap they put inside their bodies.
