Hell, a lot of folks get Alzheimer's as they age and their mental faculties suffer greatly and the vast majority of them were never in the ring. I think a lot of that mental slipping comes naturally to many people as they age. I saw it happen to my late father-in-law, mother-in-law, my grandmother and a couple of uncles so far. Some got to the point they didn't recognize me, or like my grandmother, she thought I was her dead son and called me by his name when I visited her. That was a bit more than eerie to be fair.
Yeah but it's also genetically and if you have a lot of people in your close family you might be at a higher risk. I mean I only box as a hobby so i don't take nearly the same damage but it makes you think how you end up ocne you ar ein your 60s or even 80s.

Cancer or heart issues at least kill you off but dementia makes you a a shell of a person for many years possibly and in the case of boxers impacts your ability to think possibly for more thna half your life if you are on of these unlicky guys like the one you met

I've already got some issues with genetics going on with my overall health. I've got high blood pressure and cholesterol issues that were a huge factor in my dad and most of his brothers dying young due to heart disease. Only one of 5 brothers on my father's side lived to see 60. I'm now 65 and have good health overall, but do need meds for the blood pressure and cholesterol issue.

My mother's side seems to have inherited the long life gene with many family members reaching well in the upper 80's and 90's before they passed. My grandmother was 97, but the last 5 or so years of her life were a fog for her.

Both is obviously bad but I would rather die of a heart attack at 70 than die at 80 having lived the last 10 years with dementia or even longer.
One thing ends your life the other ends you as a person and then ends your life

Kirkland returning after a 4 year lay off on August 24th against a guy with 13 wins 14 losses

Must have ran out of money it will be sad to see him cash out, they will probably try and make the Angulo rematch at 160

Maybe. He has a red ferrari 488 and I did first meet him at the strip club, but other than that, he's not very flashy
