Maybe in csgo, but it is most definitely easier to hit a target with mouse on cod and any other games of its ilk, that's not to say its easier on PC its not, its more difficult, but for other factors
In COD there's not a chance it's easier close range, i'll give you long distance.

Nadeshot moved back to controller for that exact reason, it's easier to beam people long range because you don't get much aim assist at that distance anyway but if you are in close quarters your aim on controller will literally stick to the chest of the enemy and follow their strafe, can't do that on PC.

Surely the requirement of aim assist shows mouse is easier

Regardless, at very close range, turning a corner, controller with aim assist may be easier, as is wet with a shotgun, but in most situations mouse is easier to hit a target

That's not how it works, no one plays controller without aim assist so the comparison is controller aim assist to mouse and keyboard, it makes zero sense to compare controller with no aim assist as it's not really a thing

Using a mouse at the highest level will always require more skill than a thumbstick. As good as people are with a controller, there's no way to get close to someone like Shroud with a mouse in his hand, it's a different level of skill.

I'll take your point on aim assist

You need to stop naming people, because i have no idea who they are.

We were not talking about which has a higher skill ceiling, what I said was against basic opponent or AI it's much easier to aim with a mouse than it is with Controller

Yeah and you're wrong, you've literally got aim assist that stops and latches on to your target, it couldn't be much easier.

It is easier to hit a target with a mouse, I used to play with a group of friends on pc, so I am not only one who thinks this, you completely ignore the speed you can turn with a mouse with accuracy.

There is aim assist but it's not like an industrial magnet which draws shots, you still have to aim in and you still miss shots if you don't aim well... there's still a significant skill gap between good, average and bad players on console.

Aim Assist + Mouse would be insanely easy, the aim assist is just levelling the playing field for the console players in my opinion.

Both of these points are true, but neither suggest that it takes more skill to use a controller with aim assist than a mouse.

Honestly if you posted that on Reddit people would lose their fucking minds.

Aim assist is like a magnet though, that's exactly what it is in modern games. In MW it tracks through fucking walls.

I remember it feeling particularly strong on BLOPS 2, it could drag your aim off a shot you were trying to make because another enemy player ran past in the background.

Did you manage to play the Cold War alpha at all?

Yeah I played most of the weekend tbh.

First couple of hours almost every game was 50/60 kills 10 deaths, having the time of my life.

Then skill based match making kicked in like I've never seen it and the rest of the weekend it felt like I was playing at champs, not a good experience really.

The game is good though, multiplayer much better than MW, fun run and gun type game.

Enable in BLOPS 4 was literally referred to as the king aim assist dragger, it was so strong in that game his role in that game was literally to slide in and drag peoples aim off target

Sethy was taking major shit for his comments on the SBMM but the developers claim is that it's not any stronger than in previous games. The feedback from the Yotuber/Pro community seems to say differently. I thought it was a good idea to have the SBMM, at whatever setting it's currently on, isolated in a ranked playlist and have it a bit more loose in regular pubs.

I haven't played it yet but the one mate that did said he felt the game mechanics were a bit clunky and it felt like a regression but I took that with a pinch of salt because he's not into COD in the same way I am and not the best judge of these things. In fact I think Warzone is the first COD he has played since BLOPS 3.

I tend to spend a good bit of time completing challenges so my K/D gets fucked anyway, running around getting pistol and melee kills ... especially in MW where pubs aren't particularly fun anyway and having some goal in mind made it a bit more enjoyable. So that might keep me in and around 1.0 lobbies ... depends though, if they really nail a League Play type game-mode, I might be more inclined to be a sweaty bastard the whole time.

I have to admit, I'm underwhelmed by the visuals from what I've seen so far but I'll hold judgement till I've seen the full game on PS5/XSX.

ignore - this is the PC version on the latest cards... it'll be interesting to see how the next gen console versions stack up vs this.

The PS5 looks absolutely massive, I thought the Xbox series x would have been the monster in terms of size
