Anyone going to watch XFL?

Solid timing by them kicking it off one week after the Super Bowl...preying on our withdrawals.

I'm going to do an XFL fantasy league ($35 buy in) if anyone is interested in definitely wasting their time and most likely wasting their money.

PM me if interested.

I'll be watching just out of curiousity.

The bummer will be if anyone really stands out there, here comes the NFL to snatch them away.

Never understood how CFL mega star George Reed stayed in the CFL for all those years.

Honestly, if the NFL were to formalize a relationship with the XFL as its developmental league, it could ensure the XFL's survival and help out up & coming players, too. It would also really undercut the NCAA so it won't ever happen lol.

Vince is in line to lose $300 million in the first three years apparently.

Will be a sad day when he dies. One of American history's greatest larger-than-life insane maniacs. There won't be another like him.

Fuck it. I'll give it a watch. He gets a lot of things wrong, but he also knocks a lot of them out of the park. Off-season football isn't a concept I see working out, but what can you do

Anyone who sets themselves up to fail this spectacularly AND this publicly at least deserves an audience...even worth watching on the off chance that things pan out for the XFL. I wish them the best. Optimally, they disrupt both the NFL and the NCAA and force both to make changes.

Most likely scenario: we get enough crazy footage for a great 30 for 30 5-10 years from now.

The documentary on the old version was pretty good. At the end it was hinted that they might revive it and a few years later here we are. Players getting to put nicknames on the jerseys was cool I thought. Are they doing that again.

They're going wild with the rules. I love it

I disagree, the XFL needs to not even mention the NFL, don't tell us about these guys NFL career, forget all that.

Make it real clear here is something different, it has nothing to do with the NFL.
